Yesterday, a friend who had been tidying her house gave me a whole box full of old eyeshadows to recycle as pigments for art. As soon as I saw the green eyeshadow, I immediately visualized frogs and did this art above! I found that the powders and crumbs get all over the place necessitating fixative for adhesion so I doubt that this project is actually that friendly for the environment. However, my friend's thought was friendly and this was really fun.昨日、部屋の整理整頓をしていた友達が顔料として再利用できるように古いアイシャドウを箱いっぱい分持ってきてくれました。緑色のアイシャドウを見た途端にカエルをイメージしたので上記の絵を描いてみました！粉があっちこちぽろぽろするので粘着のためにフイキサチーフが必要です。そのため地球に優しいとは言えないかもしれませんが、友達の思いは優しくて、このアートを描くのは楽しかったです。
Speaking of recycling, this month I had also painted these imaginary butterflies on cardboard from cookie boxes. リサイクルと言えば、今月はお菓子箱のダンボールにこのように空想上のチョウチョも描きました。

Will my recyle art help to save the earth? Probably not. But it gives me a bit of joy and I hope it gives a bit of joy to others.
