（日本語は後に続く）For this paitnting, I used some water brush pens which I was given by a friend, They are like magic markers but with brushes for tips and are water soluble. I used conventional water colors in this as well. I painted a series of these based on different themes...woods/nature...sky/water...cosmos/night...and fire/sun (shown above). I had used brush pens before, but this was my first time trying ones that were water soluble. Using different art materials is a good way to challenge myself to try new styles of painting!
この絵を描くにあたって、友達にいただいた水彩筆ペンを使いました。そのペンはマジック・マーカーみたいだけど先端が筆になっていてお水に溶ける。この絵には古典的な水彩絵の具も使いました。これのテーマ別の絵のシリーズを描きました、、、森/自然、、、空/水、、、宇宙/夜空,、、、そして炎/太陽（上記）。以前にもマーカー筆ペンを使ったことはあるけど、お水に溶けるタイプははじめて。様々な画材を使うのは新しい描き方に挑戦するための良い方法！
