本日私は初面接を受けてきましたー！
めっちゃ緊張しました
カナダに来て初めてのそれもバイトとはまた違ったCoopとゆうまぁ研修のようなものなんですが、それでも取引先は大企業から中小企業まであってその中から選んで応募し、面接の機会を与えられてそれが通れば仕事が決まるとゆう仕組みなんですが。。
なんか5月から次のセメスターまでそこで働くってゆうのと
コースと一貫であって、次のCoopに関わり、最終的には卒業後まで影響するので自分としては決して軽くみないで取り組んでいます、ある意味テストより重要です。
今回応募した企業なんですが（ここでは大手自動車会社Lとしておきます今Facebookとか怖いので）
まず応募したのはかれこれ1ヶ月前で実はもう無理だな～ってあきらめてたとこでした。
それが、おとといクラスの子からメールが来てるとか何とやらの報告を受け見てみると、、、
まじだ。面接日時が記されたメールが、それだけじゃなく他に応募してた2社からも面接をしますメールが。。
今まで応募はしつつも1件も返信ないままもう最悪日本でやるしかないか～とも考え始めてたなかでの出来事に自分でもびっくり。なんか動揺しちゃってテストに集中できませんでしたｗ
まるでもう受かったのような気分、まだ面接段階なのにｗ
テストを終え内容をよく確認してみると、、、、
面接・・・あさってゃん
それも・・・・9：30am こっから2時間ぐらい離れてるんすけど・・・
いやーこの日から急がしかったー。会社のHP見てきになるとこ書き出して。
基本的な質問に対する答えまとめたり。。
その次の日テストもあったしね、かなり殺人的な忙しさでした

実際の待合室に通されるとまじ緊張して心臓バクバクしてました
面接始まり質疑応答
質問は10問くらい
予想してた質問としてないのが半々くらいででてきましたがなんとか自分なりの考えは伝えられたと思います。英語の方はなんか神経質になりすぎて訳の分からないことを数回言ってしまったかもw
終わった後はすっきり
とりあえず初めての面接だったし、受からなくても仕方ない。
いい経験になったし、これで次の面接にもまた新たに備えられます
来週の月曜に更に2つ面接が入っているのでがんばります。
こっち着て初めてスーツ着たな～
The other day, I just stepped in a class a girl in my class said to me "Did you get the e-mail?"
What e-mail? I don't think I got one
"It's about a automotive corp with interview schedule on it"
and I figured "oh she's got an interview with the automotive, I know I applied for it too, but she was chosen not me"
and she goes"your name......."
I couldn't here what she said but I could kinda guess from what I partially heard, she was pointing out PC's screen I came over, yep my name is on it too!
at the moment, I was like I got an interview with the automotive, I can't believe it, because It has been more than a month since I applied and, I didn't think I will get an interview.
as soon as I got on a computer checked my e-mail box, turned out to be three, not only the automotive, but also the other two I applied accepted me for interviews.
it was litteraly wow! I was so glad. almost too glad to miss the test I was taking in that class.
After the class...
As much as I was glad to have been granted for the interview, I have a damn day to prepare for everything, because I got this e-mail last Tuesday telling me i have an interview this Thursday at 9:00am.
I was so busy doing everything as much as possible to be prepared for the interview as well as another test I had the following day.
And today, I had the interview, first time in Canada in English, I was yes very nervous, I tried to keep myself from being overly nervous, because I hear my heart was like pounding at a buck fifty. I think I really need to find a way to calm my self.
During the interview, there are two interviewers asking me I think about ten questions. It seemed all the questions are already prepared on the sheet, they asked me one by one, wrote down based on how I answered I guess. I felt it was like very formatted, not much interactive, I guess company like the automotive has a standard procedure for anything. so it was hard to tell if what i said impressed them or was it sort of not what they are looking for.
The result of the interview will be given no later than next Tuesday.
I have two other interviews coming up this coming Monday.
3日目です
この日も同じく7時半に起こされ8時半のバスで出発
最初の目的地はなんとすべてが氷で出来たIceHotel
エントランスをくぐってまず感じた事。。
さびーぃ！
すべてが氷で出来てるせいかただでさい寒いケベックなのに更に寒く感じます。
たぶん中はマイナス20度くらい。
でもここ実際に予約宿泊可能って事で部屋はちゃんとあるし部屋数めっちゃ多い。
一応SuiteRoomもあるんですが豪華・・・・ではないｗ
ベッドも氷だから横になると寒いし硬い。。
一体誰が泊まるんでしょうか・・・
一行はその後ケベックの一番観光名所でもある場所へ
そこで自分は友達と町を歩き回ることにしたんですがいや～町並みが違います
もうカナダ？って感じるくらいそこはヨーロッパの雰囲気をかもしだしてます。
なんか小さいお店が点在してて渋谷のスペイン坂かはもしくは原宿CatStreet？
とはいかなくともかなり面白い場所でした。
しかし何故か昼を食べたのはアイルランドパブｗ
でもその代わりに夜はちゃんとしたフレンチのお店堪能させていただきました
フレンチ経験がゼロに近い自分はドイツ人の友達まいけるに注文を助けてもらいつつ
この日を楽しみました。
明日はバリーへ帰ります
3rd day...
We were woken up by the morning call same one we had for the second day.
The bus left the hotel same time as yesterday.
Our first destination for the 3rd day was interesting, everyone signed up for thisone despite the entree fee of $16, its the ice hotel.
Our first impression,,, freezing, inside the building which 99% made of ice( the rest is some lighting). I don't know why but it is freezing inside.
There are a number of rooms from ordinary to suite, I thought there were more than 20 rooms which you can actually book and stay, but I would say who would want to? minimum $300 per night plus there isn''t heating. I saw sauna just outside and there are bathrooms which are not made of ice(if those were made of ice I would urinate and see if I can actually melt them)
anyway, the place was very interesting, there was also a chapel and a small bar which you can buy drinks.
After visiting the ice hotel, we headed to Quebec city, its like most touristy area, however, its also a historical area where British and French fought according to our guide.
Michael and I decided to walk around as soon as got off the bus. on the way, I picked up some maple paste which my friend asked me. the city scape interestingly enough to make you feel no longer in Canada.
more interestingly, we had lunch at an Irish place though. after the lunch, we kept wondering the area, nice galleries, many restaurants. We had nice french for dinner, my friend helped me with order, I had never really had french before.
It was nice throughout the day. my impression is people here is more tolerated with tourists so you are less worried about not speaking french whereas Montreal,,,, people there are not as tolerated as them in the area where I was today.

二日目です
この日は７時半のモーニングコールに起こされて８時半のバスに乗る予定だったんですが
寝過ごしましてちょっと遅れてしまいましたｗ
まず最初の目的地はSt.josephでっかい教会。
そこで一時間過ごしたんですが教会だし、そんなに見るとこはなく友達の午後の予定をねる
その後バスはMontrealダウンタウンへ
そこでみんなとは別れこっちはダウンタウン探索へ
町並みがTorontoとはまた全然違って本当にヨーロッパの影響が強い感じがしました
まず朝早い出発もありお互い朝食を食べていなかったためおしゃれなカフェへ
そこでクロワッサンを食べたんですがこれがうまい。フランス風？
コーヒーもオンタリオの名産TimHortonのとは違ってうまいっす
でもやっぱりお店に入って気づいたのはもうフランス語の世界
お客さんで英語しゃべってるの自分ら以外いなかったな～
ドイツ人の友達のMichaelはフランス語も多少いけるから自分の分まで頼んでくれて
まだフランス語はなす機会なしｗ
でもそんな自分にも途中試練が訪れる。。。
地下鉄に乗るためチケットを買おうとするがそこのおばさん何かをおれに訴えかける（フランス語）
沈黙・・・・
なんも分からんっす、すんません、フランス語わからんのですよっと伝えるもフランス語でまくし立てられる。。。
その後なんとか払ったお金が足りてないことに気づき払いなんとかことを得る。
でもなんかその後気まずくて、やっぱその国に来てる以上はそこの言葉を多少でも理解してなきゃいけないよな～と思いました。
人によっては英語を使ってくれるんだけどそれでも聞き返さなきゃいけないことがあっていやーほんとに申し訳なかったっす。。
その後は町をひたすら探索、その後バスに乗り込みケベックシティーへ
その日はそれ以上出かけることもなくホテルでおとなしく過ごしました。
Having waken up at 7:30 by annoying morning call, some chinese recorded voice over the phone put me back to asleep. next time I woke up 8:05 realizing that we are leaving at 8:30, sweeet
of course I was late, being the last one to hop on the bus.
on the second day, we went to a cathedro a big one called St. joseph in Montreal just outskirt downtown. we spent an hour there just wondering around, after that we headed to downtown Montreal, since it was still early we didn't have breakfast made us stopping by at a nice cozy looking cafe, I had delicious croissant and freshly brewed coffee. my body michael from Germany speaks french so I did not have to order by myself which was good although someone at the cafe talked me I had absolutely no idea just gave back absolute blank on my face.
well, having not speken a friench after entering Quebec didn't last long, later on I was kind of hatred by a woman at a subway station, just trying to buy a ticket, asked her in English, she asked me something, so I go, "sry no speak french" she kept going in french, after giving my brain a few stirs figured out what she meant, kept traveling however this little incident left me uncomfortable for the rest of the trip.
This night, I just stayed in hotel with some poeple drinking a bit and peacing out.

昨晩３泊４日のOttawa＆Quebecツアーから帰ってきました
いや、長旅だった。
ケベックからバリーまで約１０００キロの道のり。
そして毎日よく歩いた万歩計つけてたら１周してただろうな
とりあえず初日学校の前に７：３０集合
オタワに向けて出発しました
途中に休憩を挟んで１２時くらいに到着
オタワでかいね～、建物も全然トロントとは違うし
たった４時間しかいる時間はなかったんだけどもっともっと
探索してみたい町でした。
特別時間をかけて行ったのはNationalMuseumだけでそこで３時間も
すごしてしまいました。
他の人はCivilizationMuseumとかWarMuseumにも行ってたみたいで・・・
その後一行はバスに乗り込み最初の夜を過ごすMontrealへ。。。
そこで連れて行かれたのはChinese系のBaffet
うーん、昼も同じようなの食べたけどな・・・
ま、中華は嫌いではないので文句言わずに食べました
そしてホテルへ。。
ついてすぐに友達とダウンタウンへ
Subwayを乗り継ぐ、はいすべてフランス語になっていて
もう英語のサインはありません
なんかカナダから抜けてさらに外国に来た気分です。
ライブミュージックバーにて２時間ほど過ごして
ホテルにて就寝です。
I came back to Barrie last night from a trip to Ottawa and Quebec.
felt so exhausted, having waken up 7:30 four days in a row was really tough. Glad not to have caught a cold or anything.
We left the school early in the morning, made a couple of stops for break on the way, got Ottawa around noon I guess. my friend and I decided to go to the national gallery instead of going to two museums which were the civilization and war. So we could spend good two and half hours, still wasn't enough to see everything in the museum. anyway, we saw a beautiful peace of scenery on the way to civilization museum where we met up with others before we headed to the next destination Montreal.
People complained about not being able to see the things at the museums, yeah they had only same time we had to see two museums. Our decision was right, but its too bad we had only a few hours staying Ottawa which I thought very interesting city can be more interesting than Toronto.
Anyway, we hopped on the bus, another a couple of hours on the highway. We had Chinese buffet in Montreal before We got to our hotel, didn't we have Chinese for lunch???
Got to the hotel which looks nicer than I thought it would be, only problem we had was my original room supposed to be for four people did have only two beds, so you know... we had to share the beds.
Fortunately I had my own bed because of a small reservation reason. oh yeah I'd rather have my own bed than share bed with a woman lol.
We headed to downtown Montreal despite we were kind of exhausted, hit a b ar where we had a couple beer with live music which I thought sucked my friend actually liked it, I didn't know what to say when he asked me about the band.
We got back to the hotel, went to bed around 2am?
この日はまずRichmond401へ行きました
殺風景なビルの内側は無数のオフィスおよびアトリエになっていて
所々に絵が飾ってあってとてもアーティスティックな雰囲気
でも中がけっこうどこも似ててどこを歩いてるのかいまいち不明
土曜の朝もありとても静か。人もいなくてきっと平日に来てたらもっと違う雰囲気
だったんだと思う。
その後は一緒に来てた友達の勧めでちょっと路地を入ったところにレストランが
立ち並ぶ住宅街があってそこで昼食
ベトナムレストランでかなりひさしぶりにフォーをいただきました
後はけっこうぶらぶら古本屋へ行ったりカフェでお茶したりして時間を過ごしました。
今回初めてのToronto泊まりで行きましたがかなり面白かった
特に夜とかはそこに住んでないとなかなか体験できないし。
お金があればまた来たいと思いますw
