Successful student’s story - Enrico
今日は英語力が上がって成功を収めた
イタリア人エンリコさんのお話を紹介させて頂きます
We met Enrico last year when together with his wife they were relocated for work from Verona (Italy) – the beautiful city of Romeo and Juliet.
エンリコさんが奥様と一緒にイタリアのヴェローナから仕事でシンガポールへやってきた時に私達は出会いました
（ヴェローナはロミオとジュリエットの舞台になった場所です
）
Enrico could only communicate using basic English phrases such as “Good morning” and “Bye” and he was using Google translate in order to communicate with us or through his wife.
エンリコは基本的な挨拶程度のフレーズしか話すことができず、奥様を通してかGoogle翻訳を使ってコミュニケーションを取っていました
No matter how difficult it was for him to convey the message, he decided to join our private lessons three times a week and he was determined to be able to speak in English.
会話をするのがどれだけ難しかったとしても
「英語を話せるようになる！」
と決心しており
週3回のプライベートレッスンを始めました。
After a few months of hard work, Enrico learnt grammar and vocabulary necessary to communicate on daily basis and to our surprise, started chatting with other teachers confidently.
数ヶ月後、エンリコさんはコミュニケーションに必要なボキャブラリーと文法を習得して、先生達と自信を持ってチャットするようになりました
He soon after joined a group class in the morning while he was also working (Yes, he managed to get his first job where he was required to speak with customers)
その後すぐに、仕事を見つけて働き出し(お客様と英語で話す事が必要なお仕事で)、
朝のグループクラスを取り始めました
His confidence in speaking went up a notch again and we had a great fun listening to his jokes and funny stories.
彼は完全にスピーキングに自信を持ち、
面白いジョークや話をして盛り上がるように
We were even more delighted when he was offered a better job. He now has to talk to local people daily and his working hours were extended.
彼が仕事のオファーをもらった時に
私達は大喜び
彼は今毎日英語で話をしており、仕事の時間も増やすことができてます。
He is busy but happy and we are happy for him.
忙しい中でも幸せに過ごしており
私達は本当に嬉しい限りです
