On January 2nd, 2015 the editor of website earthfiles.com received a very unexpected letter from an alleged retired U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer. The letter receivedrecounts experiences where the anonymous Navy officer (refers to himselfas “Brian”) recounts his bizarre and extraordinaryexperiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica between the years 1983 to 1997. He claims that acollaborationbetween humans andaliens exist, and that the Antarctica is a major research ground for these incredible collaborations. Brian’s high strangeness experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica were in the 1983 to 1997 time period and included several observations of aerial silver discs darting around over the Transantarctic Mountains. He and his crew also saw a big hole in the ice only about five to ten miles from the geographic South Pole (pink circle on map) that was supposed to be a No Fly Zone. But during an emergency medevac situation, they entered the No Fly Zone and saw what they were not supposed to see: an alleged entrance to a human and E. T. science research base created under the ice. Then at a camp near Marie Byrd Land, some dozen scientists disappeared for two weeks and when they re-appeared, Brian’s flight crew got the assignment to pick them up. I have been wanting to write you for a long time about my experience on the Antarctic continent with flying vehicles that I was told not to talk about. I served part of my 20 years in the Navy with a Squadron called Antarctic Development Squadron Six or VXE-6 as it was also known. I served with this squadron from around 1983 till I retired March of 1997. Being a flight engineer and flying more then 4000 hours in that capacity I have seen things that most people have not even imagined on the Continent of Antarctica. The land there seems more alien then earthly. Our deployments to this land started in late September and ended the end of February every year until the Squadron was decommissioned in 1999. This time of year was the summer season when most of the science was done do to warmer temps and 24 hours of daylight. During my time in the squadron I flew to almost every part of the Antarctic Continent including the South Pole more the 300 times. McMurdo Station which is 3.5 hours of flying time from the South Pole station was the point of squadron operation during our yearly deployments. Between these two stations is a mountain range called the Trans Antarctic’s. With what we called Severe Clear weather from McMurdo to South Pole the Trans Antarctic’s are visible from the altitudes which the aircraft flew approximately 25,000 to 35,000 feet. On several flights to and from South Pole our crew viewed air vehicles darting around the tops of Trans Antarctic’s almost exactly in the same spot every time we would fly by and view them. This is very unusual for air traffic down there due to the fact that the only aircraft flying on the continent were our squadron aircraft. Every aircraft knew where the other aircraft were do to flight schedules being followed. Another unique issue with South Pole station is that our aircraft was not allowed to fly over a certain area designated 5 miles from the station. The reason stated because of a air sampling camp in that area. This did not make any sense to any of us on the crew because on 2 different occasions we had to fly over this area. One time due to a medical evacuation of the Australian camp called Davis Camp. It was on the opposite side of the continent and we had to refuel at South Pole and a direct course to this Davis Camp was right over the air sampling station. The only thing we saw going over this camp was a very large hole going into the ice. You could fly one of our LC130 into this thing. It was after this medevac mission we where briefed by some spooks (Intelligence Agents I presumed) from Washington DC and told not to speak of the area we overflew. The other time we got close to “The air sampling Camp” we had navigation and electrical failures on the aircraft and was told to immediately depart the area and report to our squadron commanding officer when we returned to McMurdo. Needless to say our pilot (Aircraft Commander) got his butt chewed and our crew was not on the South Pole supply run for over a month. There were many other times we saw things that was out of the ordinary. One outlying camp (near Marie Byrd Land) we dropped scientists and their equipment at was out of communication with McMurdo for 2 weeks. Our crew flew back to the camp to find out if the scientists were ok. We found no one there and no sign of any fowl play. The Radio was working fine as we called McMurdo to verify it working properly. We left the camp and flew back to McMurdo as ordered by our CO. A week later the Scientist showed back up to there camp and called McMurdo for someone to come pick them up. Our crew got the flight back there to pick them since we put them into that camp and we knew the terrain and location. None of the scientists would talk to any of the crew on the plane and to me they looked scared. As soon as we landed back at McMurdo they (Scientists) where put on another of our squadron aircraft and flown to Christchurch New Zealand. We never heard about them again. Their equipment that we brought back from the camp was put in quarantine and shipped back to the United States escorted by the same spooks that debriefed us about our fly over of the air sample camp/ large hole in the ice. I could go on and on about things and situations that I observed during my tour with VXE-6. Talk among the flight crews was that there is a UFO base at South Pole and some of the crew heard talk from some of the scientist working at the Pole of EBEs working with and interacting with the scientists at that air sampling camp/large ice hole. 0:24 / 0:33 Brian, now 59 years old, graduated from an Iowa college with an associate’s degree in aviation maintenance technology and an aviation certificate. In 1977, he thenenlisted in the U. S. Navy and served for twenty years until his retirement in 1997. He provided Earthfiles his DD-214 documents and other certificates of service including this Antarctic Service Medal given to him on November 20, 1984 as proof of his time in service. There appears to be many secrets hidden in the Antarctica and we are pretty much hearing different stories every month about military personnel disclosing information about Aliens in that part of the world! In the worst-case scenario, we will have access to inconclusive data with insufficient information to conclude anything about its nature. A disappointing release could include documents in which the most revealing information is redacted. The worst-case scenario would fuel conspiracy theories but will not promote a realistic assessment of whether there’s a “there” there with qualities that might revolutionize science as we know it — either by revealing new physics or by offering a new perspective on our place in the Universe.U.S. Government sensors are monitoring Earth continuously for national security purposes and could be the first to detect rare objects that represent non-human made technologies. In such a case, the related data would be kept classified if its origin is not understood. As a scientist, I would love to help the U.S. Government figure out the meaning of any such data. Unraveling the nature of UAP is important for aviation safety as well as national security. But most importantly, it could usher in the next Copernican revolution.Historically, UAP discussions were sabotaged by misinformation and unsubstantiated claims. slowly through a wooded area in a forest near Bluff Creek, Calif. “It really captured the imagination of billions of people over the past six decades,” says Evans.Roger Patterson (in 1967) comparing been scrutinized by biologists, anthropologists and even Hollywood costume examiners looking to debunk its authenticity. Over the years, no one had been able to definitively prove that the 16mm movie was staged.All that began to change in June 2024 when Evans, who has directed a handful of critically acclaimed documentaries, received an email from a part-time instructor named Teresa Brooks at Olympic College, where he teaches courses in documentary filmmaking."After her father’s death,” says Evans, 43, “she’d found a canister of 16mm film that had been sealed away for over half a century. She needed help getting it developed and wondered if I might be interested in doing something with it.”Little did Evans know what had just been handed to him and its possible connection to the famed 1967 film. But he soon learned that Brooks’ father, a man named Norm Johnson — who spent years running the film department for Seattle’s Boeing Company — was connected to Patterson and Gimlin through his brother Dave. And it quickly became clear to Evans that Teresa’s father had developed the Patterson-Gimlin film, which immediately made headlines around the world after the footage was released in 1967.“It caught fire right away,” says Evans. “As somebody said in our film, ‘It went viral before that word even existed.’ ”Filmmaker Marq Evans (right) with Roger Patterson's son, Clint.The McCaw/XYZ FilmsBrooks told Evans that the reason the film had been locked away in a safe is because her mother had feared that her husband might have been involved with a short movie that she was convinced was probably a hoax. “She was concerned,” says Evans, “that Norm might get in trouble for being involved with it and told him to put away [any evidence of his involvement] and never speak about it again.”Not long after receiving Brooks’ email, Evans had the 16mm film developed and days later found himself looking at a 40-second clip set in a location similar to the one in the 1967 movie, showing what appeared to be a slightly skinnier-looking Bigfoot walking into the woods.“It took me maybe nine months to realize what we really had,” says Evans, who was able to determine, by markings on the film, that the footage had been shot in 1966, roughly a year before the now-famous clip in the 59-second Bigfoot movie was allegedly shot. “What we eventually found out is that [this new footage] represented a trial run, a rehearsal that was never discarded.”Realizing he had physical evidence that finally put to rest the question of whether Patterson’s creation was a hoax, Evans knew he had the makings for an explosive documentary. But once Evans showed the new footage to Patterson’s oldest son, Clint, a 66-year-old Montana rancher, he was eager to talk.“He’d learned the film was a fake from his mother years earlier and had been wanting to come out and tell this story,” says Evans. “The lie had been really hard on him, and he was ready and wanting to get out from under it.”What makes the story even more complicated and tragic, says Evans, is that Patterson, who by all accounts truly believed in Bigfoot’s existence, knew that he was dying in 1967 when he made and released his film. “He knew he didn’t have long to live and that he was going to be leaving his wife with three young kids to take care of,” Evans says. “So he took a shot at leaving them some sort of legacy [that could possibly help pay the bills].”The only piece of the mystery still unresolved is what happened to the Bigfoot suit that Patterson had painstakingly created. “Clint told me that he actually saw his dad burn the suit out behind the family house one night in a big barrel,” says Evans. “He basically spent about 30 minutes tossing it into the fire, piece by piece.”Asked if he believes his documentary will finally force people to admit that Bigfoot is nothing more than a mixture of folklore, misidentified animal sightings and deliberate hoaxes, Evans isn’t optimistic.“I certainly wasn’t some skeptic who set out to prove [Bigfoot] wasn’t real,” he says. “We were just focused on telling this story about the Patterson film. That, in conjunction with interviews with those who were outdoors with him, indicated that was a favored area to go, especially into the upper parts of the canyon.”Investigators and volunteers have heavily searched the area but have not found any sign of the retired general. They have also used drones and helicopter searches, including attempting to use devices that look for heat signatures. The crew does not change. The passengers do not change. But once a flight crosses the oceanic handover point near 30 degrees west longitude, the way Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and possible near misses are recorded and escalated can become far less clear.UAP are not just a subject of public fascination. In some cases, pilots report objects they cannot identify in circumstances that raise genuine flight-safety concerns, including the risk of a near miss.Around 2,000 aircraft cross the North Atlantic each day, making it one of the busiest aviation corridors in the world.Roughly 75 to 80 per cent of those flights operate within the Shanwick Oceanic Control Area managed by the Irish Aviation Authority and the UK’s air traffic control service. In practical terms, that means roughly 1,400 to 1,600 aircraft per day operate within Irish-managed oceanic airspace.Much of this route lies beyond conventional radar coverage. Instead, controllers rely on position reports, digital tracking and direct text-based communications with pilots to keep aircraft safely separated.Yet within this vast and heavily used corridor, there is a little-known gap in how reports of UAP and possible near misses are handled.As aircraft cross the Atlantic, they pass an operational handover point near 30 degrees west longitude, where responsibility shifts between North American and European-controlled airspace.On the western side of that boundary, in United States-managed airspace, controllers are required to record and pass on reports of unusual aerial observations through formal channels.Once those same aircraft cross into European-managed airspace, the position becomes far less clear.But the differing reporting expectations can pose a big problem.This is not a theoretical issue. Aviation safety bodies already record near misses involving objects that crews cannot immediately identify.In Britain, official Airprox investigations in 2025 included one case in which an Airbus A320 crew reported an unidentified black object passing 50 to 100 feet below the aircraft near Newport, and another in which investigators said there had been a definite risk of collision after a large drone passed at extremely close range near an A320 inbound to Heathrow Airport.In a separate case, a Boeing 787 crew reported a large drone passing in very close proximity at the same level while holding for approach to Heathrow, with the official assessment again concluding that a definite risk of collision had existed.One officially acknowledged U.S. case involved a commercial flight crew reporting a near miss with a cylindrical object over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of New York.These examples do not all come from the same patch of airspace, but together they show why clear handling of UAP reports matters wherever collision risk may arise.Whatever those objects ultimately were, the safety case for clear and consistent reporting pathways is obvious.This is not really a debate about belief. It is an aviation governance issue. In one of the busiest air corridors on Earth, the process for reporting unusual aerial observations can change depending on which side of an invisible mid-Atlantic line an aircraft happens to be flying.That question has now started to surface in Irish politics. Members of the Irish parliament from several parties have raised it.The parliamentary committee on defence and national security has also noted it.The timing matters.Ireland is debating legislation that would remove the long-standing passenger cap at Dublin Airport.More passengers will mean more flights. More flights will mean denser traffic through already busy airspace. Before that volume rises further, it is reasonable to ask whether the reporting and investigative pathways for unusual aerial observations should be clarified.This is not just an Irish issue. The North Atlantic corridor is the main aviation bridge between the United States and Europe.It carries huge volumes of tourism, business travel and cargo. It also matters economically. The United States is Ireland’s largest source of foreign direct investment, and millions of American passengers pass through Irish-managed airspace each year.Christopher Mellon, a former senior United States defence intelligence official, has said it would be “a great boon to airspace and national security if Ireland would join the United States in the mandatory reporting of anomalous aerial observations.”Readers may or may not agree with that exact prescription. But the underlying principle is hard to dismiss.Clearer reporting strengthens aviation safety. It gives pilots, controllers and authorities a more consistent way to record, assess and learn from unusual observations in busy airspace.Ireland will also soon hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. That allows it to encourage wider discussion about aviation coordination and regulatory consistency across Europe. The alleged transfer was blocked by the CIA, the original custodian of the machinery, which is understood to have been recovered since the 1950s.One source told Liberation Times the visit confirmed long-held suspicions that the facility was built for a specific purpose that had not materialised.The source added that Burlison and other officials saw a private runway said to have been built for Bigelow, as well as a crane allegedly intended to support the transfer of materials by air and by river. Liberation Times understands that the findings were reported back to the White House.Liberation Times is aware of allegations that UAP-related materials, including anexotic vehicle of unknown origin, may be stored at the U.S. base in Maryland. Those materials are understood to be stored within different facilities within Pax River.Liberation Times has contacted Representative Burlison for comment on this story, but has not received a response to date.In a recent interview with Stephen Diener, Burlison stated: “I fully expect that, at many of these sites [associated with UAP materials], there isn't going to be material there. But, for example, if I went to a site, which I did go to recently, and I'm going to wait until I’ve visited all of them because I don’t want to ruin my opportunity to visit the other sites. “What I was looking for was this: I had information that there was no material there, but there is enough evidence of infrastructure on the property to indicate that there was. “What I was trying to do was prove, or find, any kind of evidence or proof of the narrative. So, if I could prove, for example, that there was a building created for the purpose of receiving a transfer of goods, then, at least if the building exists, I can identify and prove that there may be some validity to that story.”Speaking on The Resilient Show last month, Burlison said he had obtained permission from the White House to visit facilities associated with the reverse engineering and storage of UAP materials.In written testimony submitted to Congress following a 2024 hearing before the House Oversight Committee, Elizondo wrote that the hangar had been allocated at the request of then-Representative Steny Hoyer, who represented Maryland’s 5th congressional district: ‘I was informed that funding for the hangar, approximately $10 million, was allocated at the request of then-Representative Steny Hoyer.’Last year, journalist Matt Laslo questioned Hoyer on the allegation, asking: “Do you - you might not remember this - but do you remember the $10 million for a new hangar that you helped get at Pax [River Naval Air Station] do you remember why that was important?
