きゅう姉ちゃんの学校
では
1年おきに、こどもシアターという催し
があります。
まぁ、いわゆる学芸会ですね。
今年は、きゅう姉ちゃんのクラスでは
孫悟空
を演じることになったそうです。
「きゅう姉ちゃんは何の役をやりたいの？」
と聞くと、
「サゴジョウ（カッパ）
」
だそうです。
競争率があまり高くなくて、
準主役級の、なかなかいいポジションを狙っているようです。
Kitty's school has a "kid's theater" event every other year.
This is known as the school plays.
This year her class will play "Monkey Magic".
"What do you want to act?" asked I.
Kitty said, "I wanna play Sagojo(a water imp)"
Sagojo is a good position, a supporting actor and it has some parts to speak.
Not many classmates are aiming at.
何日か経って
キュウ「サゴジョウ、私のほかにもう一人
やりたい人がいたの」
というので、どうやって決めるのか聞くと
「オーディションをするんだよ」というのです。
After a few days,
Kitty"One more classmate want to play Sagojo."
So I asked how to decide, then she said,
"We'll have an audition"
え？オーディション？
こーんなやつ？
（イメージです）
なんかすごそうだな～
がんばってね！（多分、こんなんじゃないんだよね？）
What?? Audition? like above??
That's really something! Good luck!
But may be the audition isn't like this... ??
きゅう姉ちゃんの学校、ちょっと言葉がおおげさじゃないか？
アリーナもあるんですよ。学校に。

実際は、
体育館なんでした
ギャップがあるなぁ・・・世代の差なの？
"Audition" is too exaggerated, isn't it?
One more example.
Kitty's school has "Arena".
I think of a huge hall, like above picture.
But in fact, Arena is below picture.
It's a ordinary gymnasium.
Is it a kind of generation gap?
