テンプテーションズまた1人他界、ストリート氏が肺血栓で

1960年代から70年代にかけ活躍した米男性ボーカルグループ「テンプテーションズ」の元メンバー、リチャード・ストリート氏が2月27日、肺血栓のためラスベガスの病院で死去した。70歳だった。
妻シンディさんによると、10年以上前から血栓を患っていたストリート氏は、呼吸困難となって22日にラスベガスの病院に緊急入院していた。
テンプテーションズは、1964年の「マイガール」が全米1位を獲得するなど、モータウンを代表するグループの1つ。ストリート氏は1970年代初頭に加入し、ヒット曲「パパ・ワズ・ア・ローリン・ストーン」などを世に送り出した。
元メンバーでは、デーモン・ハリス氏が18日に62歳で他界したばかりだった。
