I left the Philippines on the night of September 28 (Friday), 2007 via Asiana Airlines. Since there is no direct flight from Philippines to Sendai Airport, I had availed a ticket via a connecting flight from Manila International to Incheon Interntional Airport (Seoul, Korea) then Incheon to Sendai Airport (Japan). On the dawn of September 29, we landed on Incheon International airport. i felt uneasy at first because this was my first time to travel abroad, but myself got adjusted after a few hours in my travel. Around 10:30 am(in Seoul Korea), we boarded the plane going to Sendai Airport. At sendai Airport I met Akiosan and her wife Sanaesan together with their two daughters - Namiko and Mako. During our travel going to Kumagai Sangyo Company, I was amazed with the cleanliness of the sorroundings, good roads and vast forests in the surrounding mountains.
Before we proceed to location of our company we took our lunch in a chinese restaurant (i forgot the name) wherein we are served with a very delicious foods.
When we arrived at the office, I was introduced to some of the company staff and to the head of the Company - Sadayoshi Kumagai. After our dinner I stayed at Kamaya dormitory not so far away from the office. I find the place very peaceful and quiet. I admired the kindness and hospitality of people in this place. I hope I can enjoy my stay here.
