1981（昭和56)年8月にリリースされた、アートガーファンクル「シーザースカット～北風のラストレター」の収録曲であり、映画「ウォーターシップタウンのうさぎたち」の主題歌として、シングルカットされています。 アートの曲はあまりにも美し過ぎて、言葉がありません。
この映画は、私もNちゃんと観ましたが「奇跡の人」との二本立てでした。
この曲は主題歌ですが、劇中に流されたもので、アートの美しい声に、あのNちゃんがため息をついたものでした。
のちにこのアルバムをプレゼントしましたら、大層喜ぶと言う、気持ち悪さを味わったものです。
ところで私、心筋梗塞で入院中でして、就寝前の一時、この曲を聴いていました。
是非皆さんにも聴いて欲しい一曲です。
