Back to my college days, during the first day of the first semester, I’m very nervous and I feel frozen. It’s my first day in the college, I could saw students were mixes of freshmen (1st year) up to Senior (2nd year), were in the midst of the crowd, I’m alone. Yes, I really feel alone; nobody talks to me, like nobody could see my existence. Maybe that’s the fact, and I need to accept it, that I’m a stranger; and also them, too. In the long silence, suddenly, someone says “HI” to me then SMILES when I’m sitting at a bench outside the library. I’m a little surprise when he greets me, and that “SMILE” was truly a one in a million, (it’s very cute and fascinating. Ha-ha!) By that time I wander maybe he’ll just ask what time it is, but eventually not, he asks if he could sit beside me, then I said yes. Then he introduced himself and asks mine. He’s name is Bryan; we have the same age and year. He’s kind and approachable, funny and loquacious. Since that day, we got to know each other more; we’d been fond of talking and bonding with each other, then time after time, our friendship became strong, until now, it’s becoming stronger.
