今週はライブに行くかまたはするかで6日連続。
音楽と納期がある作業を行ったり、来たり、東京にいながらロンドン時間勤務です。
This week is a good week - I'm either going to a live show
or doing one, six consecutive evenings. krystalcube is
surrounded by music going back and forth gigs and
work with deadlines, physically in Tokyo but operating at
London hours.
そんな中昨夜は久しぶりコットンクラブへ。
Last night, I was at Cotton Club in Tokyo.
Raspberry Moscow Mule (virgin cocktail)
Corey King 、黒田卓也 (tp)、吉田サトシ (gt)その他、
素晴らしいメンバー。
Singer song writer from New York, Corey King was
performing with fabulous musicians including Takuya Kuroda
(tp), Satoshi Yoshida (Gt) and others.
誰お目当か分かっちゃいますね。
It's probably easy for you to guess why krystalcube was there.
とても面白い音の組み合わせ。
I heard some interesting music - Corey's voice is mellow but
the music he produces is rhythmical, both smooth from
combination of various keyboard/synthesizer sounds and
robust from the live trumpet, trombone, bass, guitar and drums.
リズミカルで声がメロー、シンセでスムースにでも管楽器、ギター、
ベース、ドラムを加えて力強さもある音楽でした。
新しいムーブメントだそうです。
They call it a new music movement.
Acoustics was not ideal but I enjoyed the vongole bianco pasta.
勝手なことばかり書いてます。
新しい音楽ムーブメントの影響も受けて日曜日に書いた新曲を今夜のライブは赤坂グラフィティーにて演奏します。シンプルさを重視した夏のお散歩ソングです(^O^)
Having been somewhat influenced by this new music movement,
krystalcube is eager to deliver you a new song written on
Sunday. Deliberately, a simple song for a summer promenade
to fit the theme of tonight's gig at Akasaka Graffitti.
