こんばんは、とりです。今日は葛西臨海水族園をご紹介します。

葛西臨海水族園では、現在４種類のペンギンが飼育されています（キングペンギン（※）、ミナミイワトビペンギン、フンボルトペンギン、フェアリーペンギンの４種類）・・・が、今訪問すると、２種類しか観察することができません(^_^;)。というのも、葛西臨海水族園では夏の間、キングペンギンとミナミイワトビペンギンを非公開の冷房室で飼育するからです！

※葛西臨海水族園では「キングペンギン」ではなく「オウサマペンギン」と説明されていますが、同じ種類です。

賛否両論ありますが、本来生息する環境とかけ離れた高気温下で飼育することは、私はよくないことと考えています。あくまでも、「動物ファースト」であってほしいです。

さて、同園の最大のポイントはものすごく広いペンギンプールとフンボルトペンギンの飼育数です。その数、100羽以上！！　環境も申し分ありません♪　旭川に来るまでは私も月に２～３回通っていたので、自信を持っておすすめできます♪

ペンギン好きなら行って後悔することはまずありません、ぜひご訪問を！！！

Good evening, this is Tori's writing. Today I will introduce Tokyo Sea Life Park.

Now, four species of penguins are kept in this aquarium, King Penguin, Southern Rockhopper Penguin, Hunboldt Penguin and Little Penguin. However, now we can see only two species as King Penguins and Southern Rockhopper Penguins are kept in an air-conditioned room that we can't see in summer!

There are many opinions about this policy, I think. As for me, I think it good as it isn't good for these penguins to be kept in high temperature. I want for zoos and aquariums to think PENGUINS FIRST!

Well, the best points of this aquarium are very wide pool for penguins and number of Humboldt Penguins......Over 100 Penguins!! The environment is perfect, I think! Before I moved to Asahikawa, I visited there for twice or three times per one month, so I recommend to visit there!

If you love penguins, you will be satisfied with visiting there, so please visit!!
