【ペンギン基礎知識 －その２－】

こんばんは、とりです。
ペンギンの基本知識第２弾、今週はジェンツーペンギンについてです。
●ジェンツーペンギン
ジェンツーペンギンは南極周辺の島々に生息するペンギンです。先週ご紹介しましたキングペンギンと同じ場所に生息する個体群もあります（フォークランド諸島の一部の島ではその光景を見ることができます♪）
ペンギン１８種類の中で足の色が唯一黄色だったり、頭に白いターバンのような模様があるのが特徴的です。また、好奇心がとても強く、おたる水族館の「ペンギンの雪中散歩」ではその特性が十分生かされ、コースアウトなんてことも・・・(^o^;;;)。
ということで、今日はおたる水族館のジェンツーペンギンをどうぞ♪

The second basic information of penguins is about Gentoo Penguins.
< Gentoo Penguins >
Gentoo Penguins live in islands around Antarctic. Some of them live at the same place where King Penguins (I introduced last week) live.
# At some islands of Falkland Islands, we can see that scenery!
The characteristics of them are :
1. Their feet are yellow and they are the only one species who has yellow feet.
2. They have white pattern around their head like turban.
Also, their curiosity is so strong that at "Penguin Snow Walk" at Otaru Aquarium, they often go off course...... :-D
So, please see Gentoo Penguins at Otaru Aquarium!
