東シナ海(Sept. 3, 2012) Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) exit a CH-53E Sea Stallion helicopter during a simulated mass casualty drill aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6).
The drill was conducted as a part of Amphibious Integration Training (AIT), which provides the initial opportunity for the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group to conduct operational maneuvering from sea to shore before supporting multilateral exercises, contingency operations, or humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions.

辺野古沖に揚陸艦２隻、ＡＡＶ７の訓練も
ＡＡＶ７水陸両用装甲車を回収する揚陸艦デンバー
９月４日朝、強襲揚陸艦ボノム・リシャールとドック型輸送揚陸艦デンバーが辺野古沖で見られた。ボノム・リシャールは遠かったがデンバーは近くまでやってきて、ＡＡＶ７水陸両用装甲車を降ろした。
朝７時半の目撃者によれば、降ろされたＡＡＶ７は５台で、シュワブの浜にいったん上がり、デンバーからの汽笛の合図で沖合のデンバーに戻っていった。
デンバーとボノム・リシャールは沖縄近海で、ＣＥＲＴＥＸ（資格認証訓練）を行っているとみられる。
