【ボレロー和楽器ー刻むときー】YouTubeの映像が20万回再生を達成しました。
2023.6.17に10万回、そしてこの度20万回を超える視聴回数、
5000を超える高評価をいただきました。
多くのお褒めやご助言のコメントも、今後の研鑽に活かしてまいります。

【ボレロー和楽器ー刻むとき】
和楽器と日本舞踊によるボレロ。
過去ー現在ー未来と、ボレロのリズムのように時が流れ、各々の人生を刻んでいく時に、
その不変の「とき」の概念の中でも時間が伸び縮みするようなさまざまな瞬間があります。
コロナ禍でも前に進んでいきたい、という気持ちでラヴェルの名作「ボレロ」を
和楽器と日本舞踊で企画・表現することに挑みました。（喜羽美帆）
2021年12月7日座・高円寺（東京都杉並区）にて発表。

【ボレロ】を和楽器で演奏するという挑戦。
演奏の皆さんの想いと覚悟を受けて…
『古典の美』と、『心のままに躍動する感覚』とを織り混ぜて、踊りを作ってゆきました。
ボレロは最初から最後まで、同じリズムを打楽器が刻みますが、
静と動や、喜怒哀楽を織り成す音楽が、それを同じリズムとは思わせない、不思議な魅力があります。
時は等しく流れているはずなのに、うずくまる時はまるで止まったかのように感じ、
エネルギーに溢れる時は光の速さで流れてゆく…
誰しもが胸の内で、心が死んでしまいそうな時や、燃えあがるような時を繰り返し、
立ち止まり、葛藤し、挑戦し、歩んでいるように思います。
そうした営みの中で生きる全ての方が、きっと、空高く飛び立てるように願って…
今回のボレロは【不死鳥】をテーマに致しました。
一度灰になった不死鳥が、暗闇の中で空を渇望してもがく様から、再び心が鼓動し、炎がともり、
復活の飛翔を遂げるまでの物語です。
和楽器と日本舞踊の描くボレロ、皆さんの胸の内で、心のままに旅して頂けたら幸せです。

Challenge to perform 【Boléro】only with Japanese
traditional instruments.
Inspired from musicians’ expectations and willingness…
I created my performance mixing ‘the beauty of traditions’ with
feelings of lively motion.
Boléro keeps ticking exactly the same rhythm from the beginning
to the end,
the music expresses ‘stillness and motion’ and human emotion
(=Anger, joy, grief and pleasure)
and it doesn’t make us realize it keeps ticking the “same rhythm”
all the time. It is really enchanting.
Although the time is supposed to flow equally, it feels like as if it
stopped when we sink in deep thought, and it flows at the speed of
light when we’re full of energy.
We sometimes find ourselves standing at the edge of the world with
despair
or being motivated with full of passion and hope.
It seems like we repeat to pause, conflict, challenge and step
forward.
I wish to all of you, who are living in your unpredictable lives, will be
able to recognize your life to be filled with happiness,
I chose “the Phoenix” as the theme of this Boléro.
The Phoenix which was burned out completely, struggled and had a
strong desire for the life, then revived in a blaze.
It’s the story of the Phoenix’s resurrection.
I would be happy that you enjoy the spectacle of Boléro with us.

（前半）
一度灰になった瀕死の不死鳥が、暗闇の中で空を渇望しもがくう
ち、再び炎がともり、復活の飛翔を遂げるまでを、日本舞踊の古典
作品『島の千歳(ｼﾏﾉｾﾝｻﾞｲ)』『道成寺』『鷺娘』を土台に綴る。
（後半）
不死鳥の格調、心理描写、飛翔を…古典の型・振り・美を支柱に踊
ることで、生命力溢れる不死鳥の魂を表現している。
●尺⼋
明治以前は虚無僧（普化宗の僧侶）のみに吹くことが許された修⾏の為の道具でした。
⾃然の真⽵を使⽤し、⼿孔の少ない素朴な構造の尺⼋は⽣み出される⾳⾊も演奏者に
より⼤きく異なるのが魅⼒で、今や世界中に愛好者がいる楽器です。
*Shakuhachi
It used to be a tool for austere training only Komuso (the monks of Fuke sect of Japanese
Buddhism) were permitted to play before the Meiji era. Itʼs made from Madake (Japanese
timber bamboo). Because of its simple structure with a few holes and pure material, the
sounds of Shakuhachi will depend on the players. There are many enthusiasts around the
globe nowadays.
●⼆⼗五絃箏
箏は13本の⽷を持つ楽器ですが、この⼆⼗五絃箏は⼆⼗五本の絃があります。右⼿に
「琴⽖」という象⽛製のピックをつけて演奏します。
*25-strings Koto
Original Koto has 13 strings, but this has 25.
We put on the right fingers the picks called “Koto zume” when we play.
●篠笛
各地の祭りや神楽などの⺠族芸能、歌舞伎⾳曲などで使われてきた⽇本の横笛の総称
です。⽵に⽳を開けただけの構造で、素朴ながら遠鳴りする独特の⾼⾳が特徴的です。
*Shinobue
“Shinobue” is a generic name of Japanese flutes which have been played for the local
festivals, Kagura (Ancient Shinto music and dance), folklore performances, or Kabuki
(Japanese classical drama). Although the structure is quite simple, its high-note can be
heard from the distance.
【Japanese Traditional Dance】
The resurrection story of the Phoenix;
Once burned out completely, the Phoenix struggled in the dark to fly,
and finally revived in a blaze.
We describe the story inspired by “Shima no Senzai”, ”Doujoji” and “Sagi
Musume”, classical Japanese traditional dances.
Dignity, psychological description and flight of the Phoenix
- We express the energetic soul of the Phoenix with Kata (a traditional
Japanese form of motion) based on the theory of beauty in Japan.
