One of my favorite people came from Canada to visit me at our home in Japan!
She plays Saki Kashiwag, Omi's mother in SHOGUN.
@hara.manami Manami Hara-san!
Manami is a veteran actor based in Vancouver and also teaches acting.
I was very nervous when I was asked to give a shosa-lesson to such a senior actor, but I was attracted by her personality and became a big fan of hers! I miss studying the gestures of the characters and doing yabusame-stretch gymnastics with her (*T^T).
On my off days, I was once allowed to visit Manami's home to refresh myself.
This time we were able to have her at our house and we had a Japanese food party with steamed turnips and oden!
As we watched SHOGUN together on the projector, we talked endlessly about how we were doing at that time.
The happy and enjoyable evening passed very quickly.

『SHOGUN』で近江の母、樫木早貴 役を演じていらっしゃる、
@hara.manami ハラマナミさん！
マナミさんは、バンクーバーを拠点に活躍するベテラン俳優で、演技指導もされています。
そんな大先輩の役者さんに所作レッスンを頼まれ、最初はとても緊張しましたが、彼女の人柄に惹かれ、大ファンになりました！ キャラクターゆえの仕草を研究したり、一緒に流鏑馬体操をしたのが懐かしいです(*T^T)
オフの日には、マナミさんのご自宅にお邪魔してリフレッシュさせてもらったこともありました。
今回は我が家にお招きすることができ、蕪蒸しやおでんなどで和食パーティーをしました！
プロジェクターで、一緒に『SHOGUN』を見ながら、「あの時こうだったね！ああだったね！」と、話が尽きませんでした。
楽しくて幸せな夜はあっという間に、ふけてゆきました。
