オーストラリアは今日からEaster休暇で月曜日まで4連休です。つまり、人が移動する時期ですが、不必要な外出は制限されており、国のSocial DistanceやNon-essential travelのガイドライン (買い物、運動、通勤・通学、病院、以外の外出はダメ) に反すると罰金をとられます。殆どのオージーは政府の言うことを聞くと思います。昨日、オージーの同僚と話をしていたら、95%は政府の方針に従うと言ってました。確かにそんな感じがします。
このような政策が功を奏してか、コロナの新規感染者数は、今のところ、3月末をピークに減少しており、噂では5月の上旬には規制緩和の方針が出されるとやら。
日本は、こちらから見ると、非常事態とか言ってもOECDの中で見ると恐らく最もユルユルで、日本人はコロナに掛かりにくいって説が本当かもとおもえる程です。それか「経済活動を極力止めない」という隠れた戦略があれば、それはそれで感心しますが。無策で右往左往するだけであれば、ちょっと怖いですね。
さて、下の記事ですが、ある男性がTake outのケバブをPublic Spaceで食べていたら警察に見つかり、何回か注意された様ですが、最終的に罰金($1,000)を科せらせた様です。その他にもかなりの罰金事例が発生しています。このような事例をニュースで見せられると、皆言うことを聞きますよね。
