オーストラリアでは海外からの帰国(入国)者は強制的にホテルで14日間隔離されます。先週土曜日の深夜に施行されました。当地の感染者の2/3が海外に滞在した人たちの様で、コロナの封じ込めには必須の様です。こちらは、lockdown寸前と言われており、上の隔離措置は合理的な対応だと思います。しかし、オーストラリアの徹底ぶりは凄いです。
首相のスコット・モリソンは確か５０歳代中頃の人です。彼に限らず要職についている政治家は結構若い人が多いです。だから迅速で大胆な決断ができるのかも。

State and territory leaders agreed to forcibly isolate returning overseas travellers in hotels for 14 days from midnight on Saturday.
