Using Emperor Qianlong’s praise for the most valuable treasure – a second-to-none treasure (pronounced as Musou) in history – as its name, the Band is famous for its unique musical instruments and fine timbre. Made up of top female players majored in Chinese music at colleges, Musou Band is specialized in Chinese music performance, using its unlimited imaginations and narrative style to present the beauty of new classical music mixed with affections and melancholy to the audience through dizi, liuqin, yangqin, sanxian, xiaoruan, zhongruan, pipa, yueqin, guzheng, erhu, cello, percussion, and vocal.
