この前の飲み会は活気のある人が集まってくる会社だと思ったし、あの会社なら社会人になってもそういう感覚は持てると私は思う。活き活きしていたい。

At a recent company drinking party, I came to realize that our company has gathered a lot of very energetic people. I think the company will continue to have an atmosphere of vitality. I also want to live like that.

いつも研究室で一緒の助教から「あいさつ」された＠facebook。挨拶しかえさないといけないのかな…

On facebook,I was greeted by an associate professor that I see at my laboratory every day.
Must I reply? (For some reason, we use "on"instead of "at"for websites. No one knows why))

最近、充実してるような、遊び過ぎてるような気がする。

Recently, I fell that I lead a full life, on the other hand I fell that too much fun.


フェデラーとナダルの2強時代から、今年はジョコビッチが開幕から負けなし。フェデラーにはまだまだ頑張ってほしいがジョコビッチが優勝するだろうな

Recently Nadal and Federer are the strongest, but Djokovic has won since the beginning of this year.
I want Federer to continue to win , but Djokovic will win the French Open.

大人になるとは身動きが取れなくなることだと感じる。私は身軽でいたい。

頭を大して使わず体を動かして、仕事や研究を「やった気」になってしまうのが嫌だ。

I dont like feeling a sense of achievement about work and research when I do my work without thinking.

テニスは土から芝生のシーズンに。どうやら錦織は芝生アレルギーらしい。

The pro tennis tour's surface changed to a grass court from a clay court.

そろそろ研究頑張らないと。学会で発表することが無さ過ぎてヤバい。

I have to do my best on my research now. I feel seriously to have no data to present at the institution.

My comment for my friend

I dont think that Keio university is bad.
Many students from Keio University have high regards about English.
So do you fell that the purpose of the Japanese friend is only to practice English?
I think what you see is only a part of Japan.
Japanese are not only university students. Japan is not only Tokyo.
If you speak some japanese, I advise you to go to Kyusyu, Sikoku, Touhoku or Hokkaido for vacation or for studying. There you can see many people from diverse generations.
Then you can see various aspects of Japan.
I hope you continue to study japanese.

慶応大学を悪く言うつもりはありません。
慶応大学は意識の高い人が多いです。
そのため、「日本人の友達を出来たかと思ったらその人たちが英語の練習だけをしてほしい」と感じたかもしれません。
あなたの見た日本はほんの一部かもしれませんよ。
日本人は大学生だけではありません。日本は東京だけではありません。
もしある程度あなたが日本語ができるなら、旅行か留学で東京以外の九州や四国、東北、北海道などに行っていろんな世代の人と関わることを勧めます。
