Hi, how are you?
I'm fine. I'm totally fine.
Recently, I work 6 times a week.
I really love my job.
I don't know the reason actually. But somehow, I love this situation. I mean, I can earn money and improve my English level .
I love talking with customers.

Anyway, what I'd like to talk about today is one funny thing happened to me.
Around 8PM, one Japanese family came to our restaurant.
I could easily recognize them as Japanese people because I heard them speaking in Japanese. They asked me to order a bit more sushi and I recommended ‘Kirika Roll’, which is the best sushi I've ever had in our restaurant. And they ordered this sushi.

When I served this dish to the Japanese customer, her mother asked me, 『名前何でしたっけ?』. And I said 『けんじ上山です。』, And then she said 『いや、あの、寿司の名前・・・』And I said『そうですよね、僕の名前とか興味ないですよね(苦笑),キリカロールです』

What a embarrassing story, but a funny story. Isn't it?
Isn't it funny? Couldn't you laugh?

Oh, not so much? Why not?
I don't care. I felt this was one of the funniest story I've ever experienced since I came here.

What I wanna tell you is that we Japanese tend to skip 『主語』, but people who speak English never skip 'subject' Skipping 主語 sometimes makes us confused because you know, we have no idea who or which is expected to be 主語.

Is this often happening because of the あいまい culture that we have?
I have no idea. But I wanna share this funny and important fact that I experienced today.

Alright, that's the end of my blog this year.
Happy Merry Christmas and Have a good day.
I wanna share this moving video clip lastly.

Bye!!!
