こんにちは
LA在住の日本人が手がける今季大注目のブランドAs Is
3月11日に発生いたしました東北太平洋沖地震を受け、
As Is デザイナー Ayumi氏から
日本の皆様への応援メッセージを頂戴しましたのでご紹介いたします。
私のルーツでもある日本へ、また日本の皆様へ。。
特に今回の大災害において、犠牲になった方々に
心よりお悔やみ申し上げるとともに、
多くの大切なものをなくされ、被災された方々には
心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
生きる希望を持ってください。
もし、１つ忘れてはいけないことがあるとすれば、それは
あなたは決してひとりではないということです。
世界の人々が大きな悲しみを分かち合っています。
強くいてください。
そして団結して、復興に努めましょう。
日出ずる国 -the land of the rising sun- として…

My Japanese heart goes out to my country and my people,
especially those who have lost more than what can ever be
thought of to lose.
Physically, I want to be there to aid in the restoration of
what the earthquake, Tunami and failing Power plants
have destroyed.
For now, my mind and spirit will have to do for moral support.
To my
If there is one thing that you should remember in your memory,
let it be the notion that you are NOT alone.
Your sorrow has been acknowledged by the rest of the world that you share.
Be strong, and strive to rise united… as the nation that everyone knows as “the land of the rising sun”
