四季彩１は明黄緑色の早生キリンソウです。
開張型から数年後にカーペット状に広がります。
セダムに代わる持続可能な明黄緑色耐候性緑化品種です。
Shikisai 1 is a bright yellow-green early-growing Phedimus. After a few years from the open type, it spreads like a carpet. A sustainable pale yellow-green, weather-tolerant greening variety that replaces sedum.

キリンソウの冬至芽の発芽は、タケシマキリンソウでは秋に成長を始め2~3cm成長した時点で冬季を迎えそれまでに成長した成育茎は枯損します。
タケシマキリンソウ種では地際の茎が枯損せず木質化状に残り、春に新芽を付ける事が出来ます。
一方キリンソウ種は成長枝の全が枯損し、株元に新芽（芽の状態）を形成して翌春を待ちます。
四季彩1は両者の中間的な越冬方法をします。
越冬芽は2mm程度に成長しますがどちらかと言えば芽に近い状態で越冬します。
この事から早生種と表記しています。
早春の感受性はタケシマキリンソウと同じく２月頃より成長を始め、初春の降雪時期にはサラダグリーンの新芽を見る事ができる成長旺盛な品種です。
The germination of the winter solstice buds of Phedimus grows in autumn in Phedimus takesimensis February 10, 2023 Okayama Prefecture, and when it grows 2 to 3 cm, the growing stems that have grown up to that point die off in winter.
In the case of the Phedimus takesimensis species, the stems at the ground level remain woody without dying, and new shoots can be formed in the spring.
On the other hand, Phedimus aizoon seeds have all of the growing branches withered, and new shoots (bud state) are formed at the base of the plant and wait for the next spring.
Shikisai 1 uses an intermediate wintering method between the two.
The overwintering buds of Shikisai 1 grow to about 2 mm, but if anything, they overwinter in a state close to the buds.
For this reason, it is referred to as an early-maturing variety.
The early spring sensitivity is the same as Takeshima Kirinsou, and it starts growing around February, and it is a vigorous growing variety that can see salad green sprouts during the snowfall in early spring.
