THE RISING STAR TEAMS UP WITH KANO ON HIS LATEST RELEASELiverpool-born, London-based Mele, aka 20 year-old Krissy Peers, is fast making a name for himself as one of the young producers to keep an eye on this year following DJ dates up and down the UK and a European mini-tour with Sinden and Krystal Klear.Time Out have already tipped him as one of their 'DJ Stars of 2012' and his growing legion of fans includes the likes of Annie Mac, Toddla T, Rustie, Brodinski and Hudson Mohawke. With releases on Sinden's Grizzly, Sound of Sumo and Mixpak, and remixes for Disclosure, Surkin, Crookers and Elton John vs PNAU, his star is very definitely on the rise!Following 'Mugged', Mele's first release for the Grizzly label, comes the 'Beamer' EP featuring East London grime hero and sometime actor Kano. It doesnt get much stronger than this on the same EP...5 killer remixes of some of Vince Watsons biggest tracks in the last couple of years on his Bio label..Serious heavyweights are involved in this Repshape project, as well as the previously unreleased club remix of Aurelon by Steve Rachmad and Vince Watson.First up is Joris Voorns sunshine summer reshape of Intuiton, perfect timing for this to re-appear with a nice spot or remastering. Sure to be a big hit once again..Next up is the seminal reshape of A Very Different World by Funk DVoid. Top of the playlists of Djs from Sasha and Digweed to Derrick May and Josh Wink back in 2010.Steve Rachmad and Vince Watsons Aurelon Re-edit brings Steve original remix back with a club element and straight into the box for this weekend :)Psycatrons reshape of Pressure from late 2011 was a major crowdpleaser and sits nicely alongside the other cuts on this project.Finally, DJ Rolandos reshape of Sequential from a few months ago has been a firm favourite of many and the jacking chicago/detroit vibe does the business.Overall, a very powerful EP with some top billing.
