is ready to launch a new EP by DARTRIIX (RADIQ and Fumiya Tanaka)
.
After releasing the highly-praised album “DARTRIIX
”,
DARTRIIX
are back again with 3 decent killer minimal tracks.
A1[Superposition
] is originally included in the album,
but this one is a 11mins long version which builds up the floor gradually
with a glamorous groove, B1[Salvia
] keeps the tension of the floor deep
by changing unique samples and loops consistently,
and B2[SYD
] gives you the stripped down groove
with quirky vocals/sound objects stabbing in and out.
Each track has got a smoky fat bassline, a tight and sharp rhythm section,
and everything else you need on the floor.
You may say these are “dubby” or “deep”, but arguably they are far beyond
from these clich?.
DATRIIX
are focusing on the essence of techno/minimal music
that must be “challenging” and they never ever fell into the temptation
of easiness. All three tracks are for every DJ and dancer
who wants something special right in the middle of the night.
op.disc
proudly announces their new EP “precede me ep
”
by ditch
(Shinichiro Kono). After releasing op.disc 008 (a split single w/ NAP)
and his first album op.disc 015 (ditch weed), he isback again
with 4 tracks including one from the album.
As everybody may know, since his sensational debut on Minibar in 2006,
he has been releasing stunning tracks/EPs on many labels
such as Microcosm
(Philadelphia, US), Kalimari (Montreal, CA),
andSafari Electronique(London, UK).
He has established good reputationsamong the scene.
After the rush of these single releases, he has been settled down
and enjoying his life with op.disc. “precede me ep” includes four great tracks,
and each of them has his unique, quirky, mysterious,
and anonymous samples on groovy round shaped rhythm
with heavy but clear basslines. More and more are to come
from ditch
in 2008, so please keep your eyes on him and op.disc
