日本について

日本人はヨーロッパを美しく誤解している。実際のヨーロッパは全然違う。日本が東京のような大都会とすれば、ヨーロッパはアフリカのサバンナのようなところだ。治安が悪いのはもちろんのこと、日本人と比較すればヨーロッパ人の民度は恐ろしく低く、日本では当たり前に通用する善意や思いやりは全く通じない。隙あらば騙そうとする奴ばかりだ。

日本と違い階級社会である為、会話の全く通じない無知な愚か者も多い。

私は時々、欧州事情に疎い日本人が欧州に行ったら、精神に異常を来たしてしまうのではないか？と心配することがよくある。

欧州について何も知らない日本人が欧州に移り住むというのは、都会の快適な場所に住んでいる人間を、ライオンがウヨウヨしているアフリカのサバンナに丸裸で放り込むのと変わらないだろう。悲惨な結果になるのは目に見えている。

日本ほど素晴らしい国は、世界中のどこにもないだろう。これは私の確信であり事実だ。

ただ…問題は、日本の素晴らしさ、突出したレベルの高さについて、日本人自身が全くわかっていない事だ。

おかしな話だが、日本人は本気で、日本はダメな国と思っている。
最初は冗談で言っているのかと思ったが、本気とわかって心底驚いた記憶がある。
信じられるかい？こんな理想的な素晴らしい国を築いたというのに、誇ることすらしない。本当に奇妙な人達だ。

しかし我々欧州の人間から見ると、日本の現実は奇跡にしか思えないのである。

だから、私はいつも、欧州に行きたいという選手がいたら、よく考えて決めるべきとアドバイスしている。
日本でレベルアップできるなら、日本より（国の発展が）遅れている欧州諸国に行く必要は全く無い。

欧州では人種差別もあるので、力があっても出場すらさせてもらえないかもしれない。
リスクが大きすぎるのだ。
日本のリーグのレベルを上げる事の方を、安易な欧州進出よりも優先すべきである。

もしどうしても行きたければ、ドイツのような人種差別意識の低い国のリーグか、ビッグリーグよりレベルの少し落ちる国のリーグに行って、実績を積んでから、ビッグリーグに移籍すべきだ。

Raising the level of the Japanese league should be given more priority than easy entry into Europe.

If they really want to go, they should go to a league in a less racist country like Germany or a league in a slightly lower level country than the big leagues, build up a track record and then move to the big leagues.
