4.5 magnitude earthquake on Hawaii's Big Island followed by smaller quakes: no tsunami threat.
WAIMEA, Hawaii - 4.5 - magnitude earthquake struck the north part of the Big Island on Wednesday.
and the shaking was followed by a series of smaller temblors. The first quake struck 13 miles southeast
of Waimea at about 2 p.m. the U.S. Geological Survey said. It was centered at a depth of 11.7 miles.
About two dozen smaller quakes ranging in magnitude from 1.7 to 3.6 followed within two hours.

この 様子は ラジオで 知ったが オアフ島で 地震の 影響は 全く なかったと 言っても
過言ではなかった！ 今回の ハワイ島での 地震は オアフ島では 揺れが まったく 感じられなかった
からだ！
前回の ハワイ島で 地震が 発生した 時は オアフ島も 揺れ 島 全体が 停電に なって しまった

I knew this news by radio. Anyhow on Oahu Island was nothing damage even we didn't feel nothing
at all.
In the past Big Island had a big earthquake and at the time whole Oahu island was black out.
That time was so awful and still remembered.
