The first day of Kinder Olympics has begun!

All athletes gathered together to learn some sports that will happen in Paris Games 2024.

They warmed up by copying some athletic poses. R-chan showed her move of lifting her leg high in the air like a taekwondo athlete.

Quiz time~~ The kids tried to guess among olympic pictograms that represent certain sports. They got confused because the pictures were similar, but they were excited when they guessed correctly.

Time for a brain break! Athletes were divided into two teams, and they had to race to match the given sports pictograms with the larger cards scattered on the carpet. When the younger kids struggled to find the matches, the older kids shouted, “There, there! Here! No, here!” Nice teamwork, kids!

バスケバスケバスケ

“Attention all athletes, Kinder Pentathlon 2024 is about to begin, on your marks, ready, set, go!”

All athletes had to complete all five sports, including:
1. Walking into the zigzag circles
2. Balancing on the thin beam
3. Hopscotching through the rings
4. Crawling under the obstacles
5.     Tossing five rings into the targets

ラグビーラグビーラグビー

Time for an art lesson! The kids made their own medals from scratch. They chose their favorite numbers from 1 to 3, then drew them with a glue gun. Once the glue dried, the kids painted the entire circle with metallic paint.

Onto the next game!

What is the Olympics without lighting its torch? Therefore, the athletes did their best to pass the torch flame (blue ball). The kids really focused on not dropping the ball because if they did, they had to try again from their original places. Great teamwork, athletes!

🏐🏐🏐

Time to learn about the Olympic symbol, a.k.a. Olympic Rings. The kids guessed the colors and the total number of rings present. Then, they were tasked with hunting for the rings around the classroom. Once they found one, they had to paste it randomly on the white paper. The kids had a blast finding all the rings, from the obvious to the very hidden places.

Lastly, the kids had a snack break with pancakes. They had to arrange the ring-shaped pancakes the way Olympic Rings are arranged. Afterwards, they colored their pancakes with the five-colored icing. Their pancakes turned out pretty, and they loved it.

Well done, athletes! You have completed the first day of Kinder Olympics! See you all tomorrow!
