昨年（2018年）にはついに設立10周年を迎えたプレミアム・スニーカーブティック

＜le coq sportif＞とのコラボレーション第５弾となるスペシャルモデル

＜KICKS LAB. x le coq sportif LCS R800＞を発売することになりました。

2015年発売の『フレンチカモ』によってスタートし、昨年は＜KICKS LAB.＞の

10周年を記念するモデル＜KICKS LAB. x le coq sportif OMEGA X KL＞を発表した

両者による今回のコラボレーションでは、＜le coq sportif＞が90年代に生み出した

名作ランニングシューズ＜LCS R800＞をベースモデルとして採用。

カルチャーなど様々な面でアジアを牽引する役割である日本に対して、

改めて気を引き締めるためのメッセージを込めた、

"Tighten Your Shoe Strap" （靴紐をきつく結ぶ＝腹をくくる）を

コンセプトとして掲げました。

現在の世界のファッションシーンにも大きな影響を与えている、90年代の

日本のストリートカルチャーをテーマに、90年代という時代感の象徴とも言える

“ブラック”を全体を大胆にカラーリング。

さらにナイロンとスネークレザーという二つの素材をハイブリッドに

組み合わせることで、スポーティとハイエンドという二つの価値観を融合し、

“ブラック”という色が持つ多面的な魅力をさらに引き出しています。

またインソールとタンには＜KICKS LAB.＞と＜le coq sportif＞の

それぞれのロゴが左右アシメントリーに配置し、シューレースには

コンセプトの"Tighten Your Shoe Strap" をプリントするなど、

細部にわたってスペシャルな仕様が施されています。

90年代ファッションの再評価が高まっている今のタイミングに、

東京発の＜KICKS LAB.＞ならではハイセンスな感覚と、

＜KICKS LAB. x le coq sportif LCS R800＞ is themed upon 90’s Japanese street culture that gives huge influence to a recent world fashion scene, and colored boldly by “Black” that is a symbol of 90’s era.

Values of both “Sporty” and “High-end” are fused by hybridly using Nylon and snake leather,

so many sided fascination of “Black” is brought out more.

Logos of the both sides ＜KICKS LAB.＞and ＜le coq sportif＞are placed on the insoles and shoe tans asymmetrically, and its concept "Tighten Your Shoe Strap" is printed to the shoelaces.
