ルコックスポルティフは、世界のスニーカーシーンの
エッジームーブメントをタイムレスに展開する
原宿のスニーカーセレクトショップ KICKS LAB.との
コラボレーションモデルを10 月 8 日(土)にリリース致します。

今回のコラボレーションでは、 1991 年に発売された、
トップテクニカルランニグシューズをセレクト。

ランニングタイプのスニーカーを推している KICKS LAB.として、
前回のでコラボレーションした流れを汲みながら、
直感的なインスピレーションでに目を留めました。

楽曲を作る際の技法として用いられるサンプリングを
今回のデザインに反映。

ルコックスポルティフがフランスで最も歴史がある
スポーツブランドということから フランスを連想させる
カラーを落とし込み、その中にブラックで刺繍された
ブランドロゴは、 歴史的なフランスの革命家、
ナポレオンの紋章である鷲のマークを思い起こさせます。

KICKS LAB.として特別なものを提案したい想いを
キーカラーとなるゴールドで表現し、各ディテール
(アイレットパーツ、メッシュ、インソール、シューレース) に
アクセントとして表現しています。

90 年代に敬意を表しつつ現代のデザインソースを生かした
このスニーカーは、「DISRUPT TO INNOVATE」(破壊が革新を導く)を
コンセプトとしているルコックスポルティフのエッセンスを
KICKS LAB.がサンプリングすることで、両者の想いを
体現し新しい価値を創造しています。

“le coq sportif” is set to release a sneaker collaborated
with “KICKS LAB.”. on 8th October. KICKS LAB. is known
for developing the edgy movement of world’s sneaker
scene timelessly in Harajuku.

Shigeki Kondo, the director of KICKS LAB. Selected “LCS R 800”,
the high-end running shoes of le coq sportif released in 1991, for this time.

It was natural for us to choose it since we chose “LCS R 1000” as a base
model for the last time’s collaboration.

We reflected “sampling” in the design. Sampling is widely known and
used in hip-hop music. Since le coq sportif is the most historic sport
brand in France, we took Tri-Color for the main theme of the color.

The black stitched branding logo reminds us of a revolutionary
Napoleon’s eagle crest. We used gold for representing our special
thoughts on this model and we used it on details
(eyelets, mesh, insoles and shoe laces).

We designed this shoe by modern design source paying respect to 90’s.
We sampled le coq sportif’s philosolhy “DISRUPT TO INNOVATE” to express
both of our thoughts and created a new value.
