A Meeting of representatives of South Asia Baseball playing countries was held on 15-1-2011 at 1.00 pm in National Hockey Stadium, Lahore in which elections of South Asia Baseball Federation were held .The representatives of following countries attended the meeting:-

Afghanistan
Sri Lanka
India
Nepal
Pakistan

The following office bearers of SAARC Baseball Federation were elected unanimously:

President Mr.Shaukat Javed (Pakistan)
Secretary General Mr.Khawar Shah (Pakistan)
Vice President Mr.Eric Perera (Sri Lanka)
Vice President Mr.P.C Bhardwala (India)
Member Mr.Hamid Ullah (Afghanistan)
Member Mr. Inamul Islamal (Bangla Desh)

Mrs.Zobia Rabab Malik was elected as Chairperson of SAARC Women Baseball Committee.

At the very outset, the Constitution of SAARC Baseball Federation was presented before the participanting members. All the members approved the Constitution. Thereafter the President thanked all the members and said that he will come up with the expectations of all the members who have reposed full confidence and put a great responsibility on him for the promotion of baseball game in the SAARC Countries. The President further said that he will keep the tourch of baseball high. The tentative date of 1st SAARC Baseball Cup i.e 7th to 12th April 2011 was approved by all the members. Pakistan will act as host for the 1st SAARC Baseball Cup which will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
