既得権益には生産性既得権益と非生産性既得権益があり、ユリゲラーが油田をダウンジンクをして生産量の一部から支払いを受ける不労所得や所ジョージが携帯ショップの売り上げの一部より手にする不労所得は直接生産に関わるため生産性既得権益になります。一方、座っているだけで企業から給料を受け取り続ける窓際族や『何も専務』のような事実上の不労所得は非生産性既得権益となります。

Typically, "Pareto optimality" won't exist between the firm and the employee in most Japanese companies, when a significant number of management and a chunk of workers receive salary without producing anything.

For instance, when you call for Bucho(General Manager) you'll hear back from Bucho Dairi(Senior Deputy)  and  Bucho Taigu (Someone like Bucho)and Bucho Atsukai (Bucho Equivalent)and so on. These are job titles given by name only just to keep them employed. These people live off on unearned income paid by the company, just by sitting at a desk doing nothing.
