Day 4. I woke up like 1am after 5 hrs of sleep. passed out too early yesterday. lol
I caught up with emails, and started arranging my luggage upstairs.
I had mandazi and tea as usual around 8am.
When folks woke up, my brother-in-law and I discussed about estates market and energy plants.
Estates market shooting up and being uncontrollable, he says that is because of somali money. the pirating money. somalis are operating pirating off the coast, attacking ships. They use this money to speculate and invest on estates. landlords don't have control over the rent. Too much investment and getting a wild ride becauseof this crazy amount of money.
We headed downtown. We were walking and chatting to get to the main street where we took '14-sitter'.
Went to get a new number for my phone because my nephew blocked my phone and I forgot my PIN number. haha Also we went to a supermarket and checked out those vegetables we always get nutritions from. sukuma, managu and others. we bought 5 yogurt drinks and went for intended shopping, which ended up in vain because we were running out of time. we ended up doing only windowshopping for pants and shoes. never got to buy those, just teasing those clerks. lol
We met up with our friends in front of KCB, and headed back home. We had lunch and I had Uji(porriage) before I had to leave.
My family came in the same car to see me off at Yaya center. I was already missing them and I united with my boss and other colleagues and headed to my new house in Lavington. It felt pretty weird to be speaking Japanese with Japanese people in Nairobi. lol
I was welcomed at a nice house and we had a toast. Very fun people. :) I was introduced to my room. very nice and big. we had dinner and chatted for a while before I went to sleep.
Now my first day starts! :D
