i found out today that our house lady works 7days a week for us. She comes to our house everyday. She says she has 3 children and she needs to earn enough money to send her kids to school. very impressive. my sincere appreciation!

as far as work goes, things were sweet all day. not wearing a tie for the first time was quite comfortable and excellent. :)

i am going to investigate further on this, but state hospitals or parastatal hospitals maybe have a tendency to give less incentives to workers there. this was at least what i found out in one of those hospitals. i wouldnt give a general statement on this yet.

I had a nice lunch at kiosk today.
rice na matumbo
which came with sukuma.
Today was the last day wearing suit, from tomorrow i will be a little bit more casual.

At dinner, we celebrated my friend's birthday. at work as well. so i had 2 cakes. good food. It was nice. we also bought flowers on the roadside for 400Ksh. girls decorated the house with them afterwards.

Also, I went for swimming in a pool. the water is probably like 14 degrees. It wascrazy. lol But i got some exercise.

We did some work until midnight.
It was a very nice productive day.
Day 5 and first day at work!
it was really nice checking out how my colleagues work @my workplace. met so many ppl, maybe around 30 today. there were patients on top as well.

one new menu for today is:
maize (only lol)
and you sprinkle lime and hot pepper over it
there is grilled one and boiled one.
I had grilled version and most of my colleagues were fond of boiled one.

anyway there was a lot of information to digest and there still is a lot more to come tomorrow. will try to be on top of things.

so i had a good very productive time at work. Awesome day.

in the house scene, we have a house lady. She seems to be a nice person, i chatted with her a bit this morning. She is Luya and lives in Kibera.

First and foremost and lastly, she makes super awesome Japanese dinner. It was just amazing!
