大学OB会

西新宿のハイアットリージェンシー東京 で社内の大学ＯＢ会。

職場では、相変わらず自分が一番下っ端なので、今日は入社1～2年目の若い人達と話せてとても新鮮でした。と同時に自分も社会的にはもう中堅クラスになっていることに気付かされます。普段から若い人と接していないと「下から突き上げられる感」がなくなって、つい自分にも甘くなってしまいそう。

今朝、通勤時に天王洲アイル駅から上がったところで、ＴＶ局で記者をやっている友人とバッタリ遭遇。カメラマン同行でスタンバっていました。

昼は久し振りのT.Y.HAR BOR へ。豊田で働く高校時代の友人が仕事でビッグサイトに来ていたので、昼に天王洲まで来てもらって、一緒にランチ。彼の二人の息子は成長著しいのですが、我々は高校時代から変わってません。

恵比寿横丁

金曜の二次会で恵比寿横丁 へ。

恵比寿にもこんな飲み屋街があるなんて初めて知りました。

We had stayed at Ebisu all night and caught the first train to go home... After short sleep, I came back to Ebis again to meet my frined this morning and move to Gotanda to join workshop afternoon.(Main theme of this workshop was ''Current Job Market''. Career consultant gave a presentation about job changing..) When the workshop finished, I was so tired and sleepy that I declined drinking party with members and another party invited by my friend for tonight..

さっき友達からすごい動画がメールで送られてきた。（インド人技術者のプレゼン）

ちょうど今日（昨日）、恵比寿で「IIT（インド工科大学）出身者は我々日本人技術者とは比較にならないくらい優秀」という話を聞いてきたところ。

技術系ではない自分もかなり衝撃を受けたので、忘れないうちにメモ。

恵比寿な一日

約7年ぶりの再会。当時大学1年生だった女の子が今や立派な社会人に。

今年も頻繁に会うであろう戦友2人を含めての新年ランチ会。タイカレーが辛かった。。

15:00 torch cafe

社員数人のベンチャーで働く友人と、昨年9月に参加したイベント で知り合った社員数万人の大企業で働く先輩とBOPビジネスについて情報交換会。

今年は、なるべく多くの人と会う時間を作るために、休日の朝～夕方を有効活用していく施策を強化します。飲み会に比べるとお金はかからないし、健やかな一日を送れるし、夜は自分の時間を使えるし、良いことばかり。

「今度の土曜の15時から1時間くらいお茶しない？」というような私からの誘いが増えると思いますが、よろしくお願いします。

数年振りのゴルフ

前橋、沖縄でやって以来、人生3回目のラウンド。

（千葉のミルフィーユゴルフクラブ）

ゴルフはド素人なのですが、もうギャグを通り越して、とんでもないスコアを叩き出してしまった。。。一緒に回った人が上手だったこともあり、スポーツでこれだけ敗北感を味わうのは、ぶっつけ本番で挑んだフルマラソン の時以上。

今後のゴルフとの付き合い方を考え中です。

It's one of the sports I'm weak on. Golf snd Tennis are the sports to improve for me, for time when I have to play it, in business or another situation.

Apple vs Google

今日の日経の記事。

・iPhone普及台数、日本が伸び率世界一（09年1月⇒11月で4倍=300%増）

・グーグルが携帯電話端末のネット販売事業に参入表明

・アップルによる携帯向けネット広告会社の買収

まだまだiPhoneの機能の１％も使いこなせていませんが、友人が強く購入を勧めてきた理由が分かってきました。普通の携帯とiPhoneの違いは、普通のラーメン屋とラーメン二郎 くらいの差があります。（最初は「何だこりゃ！」と思いますが、慣れるとその魅力にハマります。但し、ハマらない人もいます。）

iPhoneを使いこなせるようになれば、確実に仕事のやり方や生活スタイルが変わりそうです。

2000年からの10年間は、携帯の機能も高度化＆ブログやSNSが普及して、情報処理やコミュニケーションが格段に便利になりましたが、これからの10年もものすごい勢いで世の中が変わっていくように思います。

年賀状2010

▲初めて海外（香港）から届きました。たった3HK$(≒40円弱)で届くのですね。日本から香港に送ったら70円（50円＋20円）で送れました。ちなみに先日、仕事で香港に書類をFEDEXで送ったら6,000円くらいかかりました。

▲学生時代にシドニーの語学学校で友達になった韓国人（現名古屋在住）の友人から。一言コメントもあえてタイプしていることで逆に気持ちの強さが伝わってきます。

あとは、写真付きの年賀状は近況が分かって嬉しいです。特に昨年結婚式に出れなかった大阪の友人夫婦 から結婚式の写真付きの年賀状をもらったので、ウエディング姿も見れて良かった。

来年以降も、年賀状、携帯メール、PCメール、ブログ？を上手く使い分けて、できるだけ多くの人に新年の挨拶ができるようにしたいと思います。
