今週の水曜日からハワイノースショアにはジャイアントスウェルが押し寄せていたのでなんと最高の大きな波は５０ft（１５．２４メートル）まであがってたそう！
We had the biggest waves in a decade this week here on the North Shore of Oahu! The huge swell was from a large storm with a hurricane force wind.
高潮の際は道路まで波があがってしまった区域も！６０年代いらいのモンスターサイズでも残念ながらストームからジェネレイトしたスウェルなのでまるで嵐の海のようなコンディション。
There are some road closer due to high tide and huge sets rolled in to the ground areas.
皆が毎年期待している幻のサーフコンテストと行っても過言ではないEddie Aikau も大会は決行しないと関係者から発表が。この大会が始まってから２９年のうち未だ８回しか行われていないこの大会波が２０ft以上あり最高のコンディションがあって行われる大会なのです。今度又この大会の歴史似ついてブログするね
We were once again hoping to have Big wave contest known as Eddie Aikau contest at Waimea Bay but due to poor ocean condition official announced No Go.....
ワイメアベイ！写真下に見えるのは普通は見えるジャンプできる大きな岩！それももう見えなくなってる！
Waimea Bay! You can't even see the big rock that we jump from during summer time...
ノースショアほぼ全てのビーチはクローズ！
most of the beaches on the North Shore were closed for the safety.
Stay away from the shore line people!
朝６時ぐらいだけどもう人が多いワイメアの周り！この日は一日中、モンスターウェイブを見に沢山の人がノースに集まっていました！
There were so many people around Waimea Bay by 6am!
ノースショアはの海は怒っている感じでした。な。の。で。この後はイーストサイドへアドベンチャーに行きました！そのブログは又明日アップするね![]()
We escaped from angry sea of NS to peacefu calm water of East Side... I will update again later!
ハワイにバケーション中の方はノース、ウェストサイドのビーチでは今週中高波に気をつけて下さいね～
