I went to KOKKO, a chicken BBQ (barbeque) restaurant in San Mateo, 30 minutes drive south from San Francisco.

Said Hi to Daiki in the kitchen who I met through my job.

Their special menu is on a cute blackboard

Your order is taken using the order sheet. (The left column is saled, and right with sauce.)

Appetizers were, their specials; a shark cartilage soba and a foagra canape (sorry I ate as soon as I saw this, and did not take a photo）

Different BBQ chicken skewers follow one after another,,

サンフランシスコから南に３０分のサンマテオにある、

知り合いの焼き鳥の店、ＫＯＫＫＯに行って来ました

仕事で知り合った、厨房のＤａｉｋｉさんに、ご挨拶

スペシャルメニューは、可愛く黒板で

オーダーは、手元の注文票で（左の欄は塩味、右はたれ）

スペシャルの前菜は、さめの軟骨そば　と　フォアグラのパナシェ（ごめん、写真撮るまもなく食べちゃった）

次々と定番の焼き鳥が、、

鶉卵のベーコン巻き

チーズちくわ

でっかい焼きおにぎり

おいしかった～

今、アメリカでは、カップケーキが大流行

そこで登場したのが、変り種カップケーキ。

先ず、ラザニア・カップケーキ

これは、ホワイトソースのラザニア・カップケーキ

これは、マカロニ＆チーズ・カップケーキ

なんと、ハンバーグ・カップケーキ

そのうち、すし・カップケーキも登場するかも

初めて "I miss you," という表現を聞いたとき、どういう意味なのかよく分からなかった。

でも、徐々にどういう感じなのか、分かり始めた。

"I miss you," っていう感じは、突然襲ってくる。

どこにいても。

"I miss you, too."って聞こえてくることもあるし、

何も聞こえてこないことも、、、

When I first heard the expression, "I miss you," I did not understand what it exactly meant.

Wherever you are.

Changing Table in Men's Room!

The biggest news about the goverment last week was that the Republicans overturned Democrat's footage.

What it is is that the conservative Republicans replaced eco-friendly utensils the Democrats introduced for recycling with old world plastic forks, knives, and styrofoam cups.

The leader of the Democratic party who promoted the eco-friendly revolution was Nancy Pelosi from San Francisco (Can you believe she is over 70 years old）

Radical San Francisco is always the target of bullying from the conservative Republican.

There is a saying, "If you hate a monk, you even hate his robe." In this case, "If you hate Nancy, you even hate her forks."

Right after that news, there was a news piece about new San Francisco Air Terminal No.2.

The building itself is very eco-friendly, and there is no fast-food restaurants, and instead, all the restaurants serve slow-cooked food using all the local and organic materials. Of course the disposable containers and utensils are all bio-degradable.

Also, the new thing is their Hydration Station where you can refill your water bottles, in order to reduce the plastic bottles.

先週の政府関連の一大ニュースは、民主党の足跡を共和党が覆したというもの。

何なのか、と思いきや、議会食堂のフォークやナイフを民主党が環境に優しい生物分解可能な材質のものに変更し、リサイクルを達成していたのを、最近、封建的な共和党がプラスチックや発泡スチロールに再度変更したらしい。

民主党の先端に立って環境に優しい改革を行ったのがサンフランシスコ出身のナンシー・ペロシ（とても７０歳には見えない）

いつも、急進的なサンフランシスコが、封建的な共和党の目の敵にされる。今回も、[坊主憎けりゃ袈裟まで憎い]、じゃないけど、[ナンシー憎けりゃフォークも憎い]、かな

そのニュースのすぐ後で、新しいサンフランシスコ空港の第２ターミナルのニュースが流されてました。

建物自体も勿論エコフレンドリーだけど、レストラン関係はファーストフードは一切なく、スローフードと呼ばれる、地場の新鮮な有機栽培の材料を使用するよう規制がされ、もちろん、容器や使い捨てのものは全て生物分解可能な環境に優しいもの。

また、ペットボトルを削減するために、飲み水用の水道も完備され、補給できるようになっている、Hydration Station（新しい言葉だから、日本語訳がない。しいて訳せば、水補給用水道）

プラグが沢山付いた、ワークステーションも。

もう一つ画期的なことは、男性用トイレにもおむつ交換台をとりつけたんだって

アンディは先週と今週出張で東京にいます。.

もともと出張は一週間の予定だったのですが、もう一週間延びたのです。

だから、下着やシャツやソックスが足りなくなって、仕方が無いので、ホテルのランドリーサービスを受けました。

すっごく高い ２日分のランドリーが４０００円以上

そこで、ＲＥＣさんと横浜のボートショーに行って、スズキのステージで「Ｔシャツ」という言葉を聞いて思わず反応してしまったのです。, "無料 Tシャツ"

Andy goes to Yokohama Boat Show!

Andy has been in Tokyo since last week on business.

Originally the trip was only for 1 week, but he had to extend the trip another week.

So, he did not have enough underwear, shirts, or socks, and had to use his hotel service to wash them.

It was really EXPENSIVE He said that washing 2 days worth clothes was 4000yen

So, when he went to International Boat Show in Yokohama with REC-san, he heard the word, T-shirt, from the stage of Suzuki, and thought, "FREE T_SHIRT"
