Got up at 7:30 and did laundry and linens.
I tidied up the kitchen before I ate breakfast
because I wasn't hungry yet.
I think I ate too much last night.
Nat came and kept talking about furnitures she and her boyfriend
were going to buy.
Host father came and stopped her for me. Thank you!
Natはおしゃべりが大好きで、私は聞くのが好きなので良いのだけれど
やらなければならないことがあるときも構わずずーっと話し続けていて、
ちょうどホストファーザーが来てyou are always talkingなんてJokeっぽく
言ってくれて笑ったのでShe finally stopped talking.ありがたかった～笑
I hung up Host mother's laundry.
I heard someone's talking. Any guests came?
They seemed to leave by 11:00am.
I watched the rest of I'm sorry, I love you ep.3 on youtube with a cup of chai
and vacuumed and mopped the floor.
dayoffだったのでし慣れたWWOOFerとしての家事をすませ
あとは自由時間。
Bossにおすすめされたアイムソーリーアイラブユーという韓国ドラマを
英語字幕で観ていました。
I had lunch outsied; leftovers from church(tomato and beef with rice).
教会の食事はお店のケータリングのものなので味はとてもおいしかったです。
I read Kafka on the shore.
I'm surprised I enjoy reading an English novel.
これまでに何度も何度も英語の本を読むのに挫折を繰り返してきて、
今回もHさんに読みやすいよと勧められたものの
英語力が違うから絶対無理！と思っていたのに、いざ読み始めてみると
ちゃんと楽しんで読み進めている自分に驚いていました。
もちろんこの本が大好きな村上春樹の海辺のカフカであること、
一度読んだことがあってストーリーを覚えていることは大きいとはいえ、
忘れていた細部を読んで思い出したり、こうやって表現するんだなと驚いたり。
一番は英語でも、あの村上春樹の独特な語り口が表現されているのが不思議でした。
I collected the laundry and took a walk, even started running.
走るのは苦手だけれど、あまりに気持ちが良くてつい走り出したくなりました。
I saw the old man who was riding a bike passed more than 4 times.
I saw 6 pelicans flying over!!!
It was my first time here!!!
水辺ではwild pelicansを見たことがあったけれど、家の近くで飛んでいるのが
見られるなんて！！！How wonderful!!!
Unfortunately I left my phone behind and couldn't take a photo.
What a pity!!
How beautiful the sky was!!
How silent!! How comfortable!!
When I came back, I felped Host mother to cut beans and melons.
We 4 had huge prawns, fried beans and leftovers.
dinner時にHost mother's brotherが音楽プロデューサーだとか
昨日のGuestのPaulが去年急にdepressedになったとか
英語で話して、部屋で韓国ドラマを英語字幕で見て、
日本の小説の英語版を読んで。
英語漬けありがたい～
