宿場よろし (Shukuba yoroshi ≪PostStation—Good≫)

広重の東海道五十三次の品川宿です。品川は今も多くのホテルが林立しています。中にはよくないホテルもありますが。品川はモミ ジの名所でした。モミジの青タンのアレンジです。

Here you have the “Shinagaa” woodcut from Hiroshige's Fifty-three stations of Tokaido. Today too there are many places to stay in Shinagawa, but not all of the hotels there are nice ones.... Shinagawa used to be famous for its maples. This is an adaptation of the aotan of the maple leaf set.

JR東日本の在来線各線、JR東海の東海道新幹線、京浜急行本線が乗り入れるターミナル駅であり１日の平均乗降客は約100万人で将来は中央リニア新幹線の始発駅となる予定。

かつての品川宿（Former Shinagawa PostStation)

　東海道五十三次の宿場の一つで、港町として栄えていた品川湊の近くに設置された。場所は現在の品川駅から離れていて（現在の品川駅は品川区ではなく港区に存在する）、北は京急本線の北品川駅から南は青物横丁駅周辺までの旧東海道沿い一帯に広がっていた。
