Can restrictions on freedom of speech ever be justified
I think freedom of speech sometimes should be restricted. First, there are some cases we should refrain from giving a coverage, such as revealing people’s name whose had saffered from severe crimes, so as being raped, family members being killed and so forth. In such a case, freedom of speech might lead to hurt someone. Second, no restriction on freedom speech would interfere human’s right. Each person has each allegation. I heard some cases that some people attacked those who had opposit opinions on the anonymous post on the internet. Some people were negated not only their opinions and also their characters. Attacking other people’s rights should not be justified on even freedom speech. Third, freedom of speech sometimes causes severe disruptions on a political situation and society. A few years ago, freedom speeches from university students on Facebook made revolution in some countries. They resulted in causing severe civil war in Syria and generating many terrorist attacks in Egypt. Freedom speech doesn’t make only good merits, and some strict rules are necessary. From those reasons, I think restrictions on freedom of speech should sometimes be justified. In my opinion, rights of freedom speech is nesessary to be built on some strict rules.
