今回はメンバーの谷川秀一さんが1/24に投稿していただいた写真です。

今回も特に写真の質のレベルが向上しているということを実感いたしました。構図や撮影する場所などメンバーさんのこだわりも感じますし、おそらく一枚一枚写真を撮られる際に「感嘆符」とともにシャッターを押しているのではと推測します。きっと写真の中に気持ちが練り込まれているから質も上がるのでしょうね。

ということで、今回も写真選定に難航してしまい時間がかかってしまいましたが（嬉しい悲鳴ってやつです）最終的に一次候補写真を100点に絞り込めず150点に。その中から二次候補写真を35点（前回30点）にしました。二次の35点からモデレーターさんからも選定投票をいただき、谷川秀一さんが1/24に投稿していただいた写真に決定しました。こんな風景を前にしたら息をするのも忘れてしまいそうです。

谷川秀一さんからコメントもいただきました。「この日は、長崎・佐世保も寒波襲来でとても寒かったのですが、こういう日は天使の梯子と呼ばれる光芒が綺麗なので九十九島の撮影に出かけました。雲のすき間から下りてくる光がとても綺麗だったのでポストいたしました。」とのこと。

I realized that the level of photo quality has improved this time as well. I can feel the members' attention to composition and where to shoot, and I guess that they probably press the shutter with an "exclamation point" when each photo is taken. I'm sure the quality will improve because the feelings are put into the photos.

So, it took a long time to select the photos again (it's a happy scream), but in the end, I couldn't narrow down the first candidate photos to 100 points and ended up with 150 points. From among them, I made 35 secondary candidate photos (30 points last time). From the 35 points of the second round, the moderator also voted for the selection, and it was decided that the photo was posted by Shuichi Tanigawa on 1/24. If you are in front of such a scenery, you will almost forget to breathe.

I also received a comment from Shuichi Tanigawa. "On this day, Nagasaki and Sasebo were also very cold due to the cold wave, but on a day like this, the light called the angel's ladder was beautiful, so I went out to photograph Kujukushima. That's what he said.

今回はメンバーのいしいよしひでさんが12/15に投稿していただいた写真です。

新年明けましておめでとうございます。ソラクモグループも開設以来、今年で丸14年。2026年から15年目に突入いたします。昨年はYouTube「SORAKUMO Archive」も開設できました。空や雲の写真が好きという方にとって少しでも多くの方へ作品を見ていただける場になることができればと思っています。

さて今回セレクトのいしいよしひでさんの作品ですが、ここのところ毎年１月の顔になっていますが、富士山をモチーフに取り入れた写真なのでふさわしいですね。調べてみたら、2017年、2018年、2020年、2022年から2026年連続と８回ソラクモセレクションとして1月の表紙になっていました。すごいですね。

いしいよしひでさんからコメントもいただきました。「12月は本格的に冬富士が楽しめるシーズン突入で晴れさえすれば毎回の紅富士。セレクト写真もご多分に漏れずキレ綺麗の紅富士…ちょっと雲をあしらって…って感じでした。」とのこと。

Happy New Year! This year marks the 14th anniversary since the Sorakumo Group was established. We will be entering our 15th year in 2026. Last year, we also launched the YouTube channel "SORAKUMO Archive." We hope it can become a place where as many people as possible who love photos of the sky and clouds can enjoy our works.

Now, regarding the selected work by Yoshihide Ishii, his works have become a staple for January in recent years, and since this is a photo that incorporates Mount Fuji as a motif, it feels very fitting. Upon checking, his works have been featured as the January cover of the Sorakumo Selection eight times: in 2017, 2018, 2020, and consecutively from 2022 to 2026. That's amazing.

We also received a comment from Yoshihide Ishii: "December marks the start of the full-fledged winter Mount Fuji season, and whenever it's clear, you get the magnificent Red Fuji. The selected photo is no exception, showing a stunning Red Fuji...with just a touch of clouds... that's the vibe."

今回はメンバーの植村義人んが11/12に投稿していただいた写真です。

12月です。早いもので今年も残り一か月となりました。今年一年を振り返ってみると本当にたくさんの投稿があって良かったです。来年もこんな感じでいけるといいなぁと思います。今年はYouTubeも開設できたし（思ったよりも登録者が少なくて悪戦苦闘中）ソラクモグループも順調にメンバー増えてるのでいい感じですね。Facebookやinstagramもこの秋からレギュレーション変更があり、投稿できないとかスパムに認識されてしまう事例が多発していますがこれもAI等によって起きる現象なのかなと思います。相変わらず、なりすましも多いのでAI等で助かっている点も多いのですが、何よりもモデレーターの方が確認をして対応していただいてる点がすごくありがたいです。これからFacebookなどSNSもどうなっていくのかわかりませんが今後ソラクモグループも違うものにシフトしていく可能性も視野に入れていきたいと思っています。

さて今回モデレーターさんと選考をしてセレクトしました植村義人さんの作品ですが、構造物と自然のハーモニーといった感じでしょうか。太陽の光が放射状に延びて幾重にも景色が重なっている様子が迫力があります。植村義人さんからコメントもいただきました。「地元で夕方、橋を歩いて渡っていると高速道路のアクリル遮音板がオレンジ色に光り、雲の隙間から夕陽の光芒が放たれて神々しい光景が、目の前に広がっていました。これは凄い！と慌てて撮影しました。」とのこと。本当に神々しい写真だと思います。

It's December. Time flies, and now there is only one month left in this year. Looking back on the past year, there have been so many posts, which is really great. I hope we can continue like this next year as well. This year, we were able to launch our YouTube channel (though we are struggling because the number of subscribers is fewer than expected), and the Sorakumo Group has been steadily growing its members, which feels good. Since this fall, Facebook and Instagram have also changed their regulations, resulting in many instances where posts cannot be made or are recognized as spam. I think this is a phenomenon caused by AI and similar technologies. There are still many impersonations, so we are relying on AI in some ways, but above all, we are extremely grateful that the moderators check and handle these issues. We don’t know what the future holds for Facebook and other social media platforms, but we are considering the possibility of shifting the Sorakumo Group to a different platform in the future.

Now, regarding the work by Yoshito Uemura, which was selected together with the moderators, it seems to capture a harmony between structures and nature. The sunlight radiates outward, overlapping multiple scenic layers, creating a powerful impression. We also received a comment from Yoshito Uemura: “Walking across a bridge in my hometown in the evening, the acrylic soundproof panels on the highway glowed orange, and beams of sunlight shone through gaps in the clouds, creating a divine scene right before my eyes. It was amazing! I hurried to take a picture.” Truly, this is a godly photograph.

The top page of the Sorakumo Group for December 2025 (the 136th overall) has been decided to feature Yoshito Uemura’s photo. This is the photo he posted on November 12. It was selected from the photos posted between October 26 and November 25. The works marked with a ★ are featured on YouTube in the "SORAKUMO Archive" as "December 2025 Sorakumo Group (November Nominated Works)." This month as well, thank you for following the rules and contributing 4,285 posts.

暑い夏が終わったと思った途端、いきなり寒い秋になってしまい体調を崩されている方も多いかと思います。風邪なども流行しているようですのでお気を付けくださいね。

さて昨今のAIブームの中、すごくリアルで現実なのか虚像なのか全くわからない写真や動画が溢れています。空や雲の写真もAIを使えば簡単に出力できる時代になってしまいました。さらに普通に写真を撮るよりもプロカメラマンが撮ったような綺麗でかっこいい構図の仕上りになっています。（※ソラクモグループではAIで作成した写真の投稿はNGです）ひょっとしたら、気づかないだけで、もうすでにソラクモグループでの投稿で使われているかもしれません。そういう時代もすぐそこまで来てるのかなと思います。

I think many of you may be feeling unwell as soon as the hot summer ended and suddenly it became a cold autumn. It seems that colds and other illnesses are also spreading, so please take care of yourselves.

Now, amid the current AI boom, there are countless photos and videos that are so realistic that it’s impossible to tell whether they are real or just illusions. We have reached an era where even photos of the sky and clouds can easily be generated using AI. Moreover, these AI-generated images often have compositions that are as stunning and stylish as those taken by professional photographers. (※ In the Sorakumo Group, posting images created by AI is not allowed.) It’s possible that we may already be using AI-generated images in posts within the Sorakumo Group without realizing it. I feel that this kind of era is just around the corner.

The work we have selected this time by Keiji Sugihara is, of course, not AI-generated, but it is incredibly beautiful, with perfect composition and color. Being able to constantly experience such rich landscapes and moments gives a sense of emotion and elegance that AI cannot replicate. This is what makes the piece really special.
