昨日ジョギングのレッスンをイベントで受けました!

ジョギングは正直凄く苦手で、短距離は走れても学校で長距離は知る時はよく喘息になってはーはーしながら苦しい想いしかなかったんだ。

水泳は大好きだからいつも泳いでるけど、最近体力上げるためにはランニングもしたいと思って最近ジョギングも始めました。

で、昨日はジョギングのレッスンを受けるチャンスがあったので参加しました!!

本当に出来て良かった! 靴のはき方から視線を下げない事だったり、規律してから走り始めると姿勢が良く走れる。 姿勢が良いと足にも負担が少ない。
後、何よりも気合いが大切だと、色々貴重な事が知る事が出来て良かった!!

いつも苦しくなると下を向いちゃってどんどん辛くなるだけだったけど、今朝走った時は胸をはって、前を向いて、疲れたら休憩しつつ、楽しく走る事が出来ました!!

何よりも気持ちが大切で、「気持ちは正しい姿勢からくるもの」とまなびました。

本当にそうです!!


I had a jogging lesson yesterday!!

To be honest I complete hate jogging!!
I hate running long distance in general.. put me in a pool and I will swim forever.. but running anything over 100m for me has always felt daunting and I would get athsma and it was always nightmare.

But I've been wanting to build my stamina so I have really wanted to get in to jogging.

I was able to take part in an event yesterday which involved a jogging lesson so I went and learned so much!!

I didn't realize how important "posture" is.
Starting off with the right shoes, (tied properly.. tight not loose) and the right posture is so important. (You need to tap your foot in to your heel before tieing your shoe lace so it's tight around the ankle.)

When I get tired I would start to look down and get depressed.. My head would be all over the place which meant my body and footing were also all over the place!
The important thing is to look straight.. you can tell you're getting tired as soon as you start look down, so it's important to be aware of where you are looking.
It was great to feel the difference before and after these tips and when I went for a run this morning I managed to come home energized instead of feeling down!!
