Easter!!
今週末はクリスチャンの一番大きいお祭り、 イースターです！
This weekend is the biggest festival of the year for Christians!
日本では国としてはお祝いしないけど、ニュージーランドでは金曜日の グッドフライデイ と イースターサンデイは祭日で、信じてる人も信じてない人も祝います。
Japan doesn't celebrate Easter as a country but in NZ Good friday and Easter Sunday are national holidays and everybody celebrates Easter in some way.
これはイギリスの習慣かもしれないけど、ぶどうパンに白いクロスを着けて "hot cross bun" と言うのを金曜日に食べます。 これは私達の為に十字架にかかったイエス様を思い出すために。 暖めて食べるもので凄く美味しいです。
This might be an English tradition but in NZ we eat hot cross buns on friday to remember Jesus who died on the cross for us. It has rasins in it and tastes so good hot!

で、日曜日はイエス様の復活の日。
日曜日が殺された日、日曜日はよみがえった日。救いの日なので日曜日は祝います！
子供の時はチョコレートの卵を庭で探しに行きました！ サンタさんの用に、ウサギさんが隠したものです。 子供の時は楽しかったな～！ で、イースターのリンクは多分卵って 「新しい命」と意味でリンクされてると思います～！ 小さいころはあまりイエス様と卵のリンクを理解してなかったけど、高校の時私もイエス様信じる様になってイースターサンデイは教会の皆と祝ってます。
Sunday is the day Jesus came back to life.
If he was killed on the friday then he came back to save us on the Sunday.
The Easter bunny used to hide chocolates in the garden on Sunday. It was so much fun as a kid!! I guess the link lies in eggs representing "new life".
I didn't understand the real meaning of easter until I started following Jesus in my teens.
