先日ブリスベンで。。。。。
先日ブリスベンで２つのイベントに出演しました。
１つはAustralian Citizenship Ceremonyでした。
この日は２７カ国からの６２人がオーストラリア人になりました。
おめでとうございます～★
セレモニーにはクライアントさんのリクエストで国歌＆オーストラリアのフォークソング「ウォルシングマチルダ」を演奏しました。
もちろんKATEIアレンジで。w
聞きたい方もいると思うけど、残念ながら１回のみの演奏でした。

そしてもう１つのイベントは毎年行ってるチャリティーイベントです。
アジアン女性がメインで、年中ロイヤル・チルドレン・ホスピタルや様々なグループにお金を寄付してる素敵なグループです。
このチャリティーイベントはもう１０年以上やってます。
ここでKATEIのミニライブを行いました。
お客さんみんな楽しんでくれました。
たまたま一番前の列に父さんが座っててさ。
イスが背中向けだったんだけど、オレの演奏２５分間、
父さんはイスを前向きにしてオレの演奏を見てた。
初めて「オレの演奏を見る父さん」の顔を見たかも。
こんなに近くで父さんの表情を見た事はないな。
父さんは嬉しそうな表情、オレの音楽を本当に楽しんでる顔をしてた。
ステージに立ってるオレもスゴい嬉しかったし、ちょっと照れくさかったかも。笑

I was in Brisbane early this months for 2 events.
1 was for the Australian Citizenship Ceremony.
62 people became our new Australian Citizens,
all coming from 27 different countries!
Congratulations~~★
As a request from my client, I played the Australian National Anthem
and an Australian Folk Song "Waltzing Matilda" at the ceremony.
Of course arranged by me and my style of music. :)
I know some of you would like to hear the arrangement,
but unfortunately it was a "once off" performance.

The other event was an annual charity event held by
"Loving Care Group Queensland".
They give out donations to groups like Royal Children's Hospital
every year. Great group of people!!
They've been doing this event for over 10 years now.
I got to do a KATEI Mini LIVE performance there.
Everyone enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun!!
My dad just happened to be sitting at the front row.
His chair was facing back towards me.
But during my 25mins performance, he turned his
chair around and was watching my performance.
I think it's my first time "seeing my dad watching me perform".
I've never seen his expression this close.
Dad looked so happy and proud, he was truly enjoying my music.
Seeing this from the stage, made me happy.
and maybe a little bit shy too i guess. hahaha
