シドニーの色々。。。。。
昨日はBuddha Festival Sydneyのオーガナイザーに挨拶してきました。
シドニーに来たのも１０年ぶり、久々に電車に乗った。
シドニーの電車って2階建車両なんだ。
Town Hall駅で降りて、お寺まで歩いて１０分。（写真：Town Hall）
お寺に入ったら、入り口に募金箱があった！！
お寺の方々と挨拶して、今回演奏する会場に行った。
この広場に４００席の椅子を並ぶんだって。
シドニーのBuddha Festivalはダーリングハーバーの近くだから、ちょっと観光してきた～w
Darling Harbourです。
このロゴ、みんな覚えてるかな？
そう、２０００年のシドニーオリンピックのロゴだよ。w
ここダーリングハーバーにはオープンカフェ／レストランが
いっぱいあるんだ。
この船はレストランなんだよ～
シドニーのAustralian National Maritime Museum
にある船と潜水艦。
海賊ジャック・スパロウが住んでそうな船も発見！w
後ろに見えるのがシドニータワーです。
ダーリングハーバーからちょっと歩いたらシドニーの中華街。
美味しい匂いが～笑

マーケットシティはアウトレットデパート。
有名ブランドやフードコートまであるデパートです。
Market Cityの地下１階がPaddy's Market.
約150年ほどの歴史をもつここ、パディスマーケットは2つのセクションに別れてます。ひとつは生鮮食品売り場と、もうひとつは雑貨やお土産に類するものが売られています。このマーケット最大の魅力はアジアンテイスト満載のごちゃごちゃした雰囲気です。オーストラリアなのに、アジアに来た感じです。笑
この写真の真ん中にある木、見えるかな？
シドニーのChina Townにある木です。
木の上の一部が金色に塗られているの分かるかな？
この木は『Golden Water Mouth（金水口）』と呼ばれる
れっきとした芸術作品です。
シドニーから450キロ強離れたコンドボリン（Condobolin）という場所で見つけた200歳の老木、ハニーユーカリ（Yello Box）の木を使用して、中国の伝統的な風水の考えや正のエネルギーや幸運をもたらす金、木、水、土、火の自然五要素をデザインに取り入れて作られたそうです。
ここに行けば運気UPかもよ！w

Yesterday, I went to say hello to the organisers of the
Sydney Buddha Festival.
My last trip to Sydney was about 10 years ago,
so it took me a while to get use to the train system in Sydney.
Sydney trains are double decker.
I got off at Town Hall station, and walked to the temple building
near Sussex street.
As I walked into the temple building, I found a donation box
for Japan's Earthquake disaster.
After meeting the Monk who looked after the entertainment
for the festival, and we walked to Darling Harbour to see the stage.
They will set over 400 seats in front of the Buddha Stage.
Buddha Festival site is real close to Darling Harbour,
so I decided to go for a walk.
Saw the monument for Sydney 2000 Olympic.
Walked around the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Found a ship that looked like Captain Jack Sparrow's pirate ship~ haha
Then made my way to China Town.
There are lots of markets in Sydney.
If you are coming to Sydney, Market City and Paddy's market is always fun to visit.
Paddy's market has over 150 years of history.
Can you see that tree with gold on top?
That's the "Golden Water Mouth" sculpture.
At the eastern end of Chinatown, at the corner of
George Street and Hay Street, there is a sculpture
made from a dead tree trunk; named
Golden Water Mouth,
it was said by its instigators to bring good fortune
to the Chinese community.
Maybe it'll bring you good fortune if you visit it! hehe
