待たせてゴメンね！
ちょっと最近の色々を一気に紹介します～w
先週はDJ LAVAさんのLAVAスタジオでRECのプリプロをしてきました。
さすがDJ！
CDがメッチャ多い！もっとあったよ～
LAVAさんが次に出す曲のストリングスをKATEIがRECすることになりました！
プリプロの後、リハーサルに行ってきました。
ある幼稚園で、演奏することになって、ピアニストの方とリハーサルしてきました。
リハーサルの後、セッションに参加してきました。
ChuriStaでご一緒にしたドラムの今村慎太郎くんが月１回やってるセッションです。
最高に楽しかったよ！
しかもみんな若いし、すごい上手い！！！
しんちゃん（今村慎太郎くん）みたいに、アメリカのバークレーに通ってた方々はマジやばかったよ！
ボーカリストのKenya "Kotetsu" ShiraniさんとピアノのKeikoさん。
Kotetsuさんの声はマジでいいよ！是非checkしてみて！

そしてKeikoさん、みんなこの方を見た事あるかな？
そう、Vanilla Moodのピアニスト！
オレが来日して、インスト音楽でどんなのがあるのかな？って検索してたらVanilla Moodを見つけてずっとcheckしてたんですよ。
まさか一緒にセッション出来るなんて！

先日、表参道ヒルズの５周年記念パーティーに行ってきました。
やっぱ表参道ってオシャレだね。
表参道ヒルズを貸し切って、お店もオープンしてたし、ステージで色んなライブもやってたよ。
みんなワインとかシャンパンとか飲みながらお買い物したり、ライブを楽しんでました。
このイベントに行った１番の目的は、→ Pia-no-jaC ←(ピアノジャック)がライブするからです。
→ Pia-no-jaC ←(ピアノジャック)って知ってる？
マジでカッコいいインスト音楽だよ！ピアノとカホンのグループ。
→ Pia-no-jaC ←って左から読んだらPiano、右から読んだらCajon。
スゴい良い名前だよね！
彼らのライブ、マジで良かった～
最後、→ Pia-no-jaC ←にオレの音源を渡してきました！！w
そして、土曜日の朝９時に、幼稚園でライブをしてきました～★
子供たちの反応はどうかな？ってスゴい不安だったけど・・・
スゴく元気で可愛い子供たちでした！
ちゃんと真剣に「Shooting Star」を聴いてくれたし、元気よく手拍子で「チキ・チキ・バン・バン」も聴いてくれました！
演奏後に子供たちからお花をもらいました。アリガトウ！
その後は子供たちの舞台を観ました。
「はなさかじいさん」とかマジで可愛すぎる！！！笑
で、昨日はDJ LAVAさんとスタジオでRECでした！
本当に良い曲だよ！！
元気が出るような、アップテンポのラテントラック。
そこにオレがまた影分身してストリングスをREC。
いい感じでした～★
出来上がりが楽しみ！！！

カッコいい革ジャンいっぱいもってそう！笑
って言う感じの１週間でした～w
てかもう３月だね！
そろそろ暖かくなって欲しいんだけどね。
油断して風邪ひかないように！

It's been a week since my last blog update~
Sorry to keep you all waiting!
I'll tell you what I've been up to for the past week~ :)
Last week, I met with DJ LAVA for a preproduction meeting.
It's for his next release track.
He has so many CDs in his studio!!
There was a lot more too!!
I'll be laying down the strings part for his track.
After the preproduction meeting, I headed to my rehearsal.
It was for a gig at a kindergarten in Tokyo.
So the pianist and I rehearsed for that gig.
After the rehearsal, I headed to a jam session night.
Shintaro Imamura, the drummer from the band ChuriSta
hosts a jam session night once a month.
It was SO MUCH FUN!!
Everyone was young and awesome!!
Just like Shintaro, many of his friends graduated from Berklee.
Such great musicians.
That's a picture of Kenya "Kotetsu" Shirani (Vocalist), me and Keiko (pianist).
Kotetsu (Vocals) has the best voice!!

And Keiko (pianist) plays in a group called Vanilla Mood.
When I first came to Japan, I wanted to know the instrumental music scene.
So I did some research and found this group called Vanilla Mood.
I never thought I'd get to jam with one of the members!!
Keiko's piano is so good too!!! Check out her group!

The other day, I attended the
"Omotesando Hills 5th Anniversary Special Party".
Omotesando is such a stylish area.
They reserved the whole building for this party.
All the stores were opened, and had a stage in the middle
for live DJ and performances.
All of the guests were drinking wine or Champagne while shopping
or watching the live performances.
The main reason I went to this event was to see these guys called
"→ Pia-no-jaC ←". (Pronounced "Piano-jack")
These guys rock!! It's a piano and cajon duo.
The name → Pia-no-jaC ←,
if you read it from the left, it's PIANO.
If you read it from the right, it's CAJON.
Such a clever name!!!!
They rocked it out!!!
After their performance, I got to hand them my demo!!!
Hope to collaborate with them one day!
On Saturday morning at 9am, I performed for the kindergarten kids!
At first, I was worried if the kids will listen to my performance...
but they were really energetic and cute!!
They all listened quietly to my "Shooting Star",
and clapped along and enjoyed "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".
The kids gave me flowers at the end of my performance!
Thank you all very much!!
Then I enjoyed the kid's stage play.
Kid's acting is so cute!!! :)
Then yesterday was the recording with DJ LAVA.
Such a great track!!
It's so Happy and Up beat tempo too!
I duplicated myself and recorded the strings section.
Sounding awesome!!
Can't wait for the final track!!
DJ LAVA is so stylish with his fashion!
I'm sure he owns lots of cool leather jackets!!
So that was my week.
AND it's MARCH already?!
I'm starting to wish that the weather get warmer soon!!
Don't really wanna catch the cold now!
