Since I will be using up
my paid holiday leave
in the second half of December,
I have three months left until I retire.
The days at work are long and tendious,
and the three months feel like they're far away.
I took paid holidays leave again
and returned to Kobe.
I didn't go home just because Hanshin Tigers won
"ARE (the campionship)".
However, coincidentally,
I always seem to be in the Kansai region during Hanshin's
"ARE (the championship) year".
On the Shinkanse returning from Kumamoto to Kobe,
after eating an ekiben,
I was reading
"Murakami Kaizoku no Musume
(Murakami Pirat's daughter)".
while drininking alcohol.
From the Shinkansen window,
I could see the Seto island sea,
which is the setting for the book.
By the time I finished reading the thick secondvolume,
I could see Awaji on my right.
This is where the ships of the Murakami Navy gahtered
before the battle in Osaka Bay.
I wondered what it was like in this sea
where pirate ships
ghrthered during the Sengoku period.
I usually wake up in the middle of the night,
but on the day I arrived in Kobe,
I was so tired that I fell asleep by 9 pm,
and the morning arrived without waking up
in the middle of the night.
The purpose of this trip home
was to sign a contract for a house
and pay respects at the family graves
during the Higan festival".
This is already my 6th time signing a contract for buying
and selling a house,
and I don't like the fact
that I've gotten so used to it.
I wasn't this time to be my last.
I felt that procedures were different each time
and were becoming simpler.
Even so,
there were still many documents to be stamped.
In any case,
I'm glad that the contract was completed succesfully.
