I had a series of business trips last week.

In the first half,

I went to Tokyo for a two-night, three-day stay.

On Friday,

I made a day trip to Ehime.

From the plane on my way back from Tokyo,

I could see Mt. Fuji.

Mt.Fuji is often seen diagonally below in the distance,

with a white cap on its bluish foothills.

But Mt. Fuji on that day was different.

At first,

I couldn't tell if it was Mt.Fuji.

It was only through the announcement

that I realized it was Mt.Fuji.

The round top of the mountain was peeking out

distincly from the sea of clouds.

I could see the volacanic crater near the summit.

And on Friday,

I took a day trip to Ehime,

taking the Shinkansen from Kumamoto to Okayama,

and then transfering to the Seto-Ohashi Line in Okayama.

It had been a while since I last rode the Seto-Ohashi Line.

When I tried to board the limited express from at Okayama Station,

there was a train was confused

whether it was the limitted express "Shiokaze" or not.

Inside the train as well,

there were characters of "Anpanman" displayed,

and being on a business trip instead of sightseeing,

I felt a strange sensation.

In the taxi I took in Ehime,

when I mentioned that I came from Kumamoto,

I was told, "You're not from Kyushu, are you?"

When I expreined that I transfered

form Yokohama to Kumamoto about a year ago,

he undestood.

I wonder if he thought I was from Yokohama.
