I watched the music video for

"Ghosts Again,"

the first single from Depeche Mode's new album

which released in March this year.

One of the members,

Andrew Fletcher, passed away last year,

leaving the band with only two members,

vocalist Dave Gahan and keyboardist/guitarist Martin Gore.

This is a new song by

Depeche Mode.

At first, I had my doubts,

but as I listened more closely,

I started to feel that it's an incredibly cool song.

Both of them are already over 60 years old,

and I immediately felt that they have aged.

The sound remains true

to the style of their highly successful album

"Violator"

and doesn't disappoint the fans.

The album title

"Memento Mori

is Latin and it translates to

"Remember that you will die"

or

"Do not forget about death."

I visited several city halls

where my late father

lived to handle the inheritance procedures.

Among those offices,

the view from the cafeteria at Akashi City Hall

was breathtaking.

I could see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

and Awaji Island right in front of me,

and I even witnessed large ships

passing underneath the bridge.

I thought to myself,

my father lived in such a beautiful city.
