昨今、新型コロナウイルスが、猛威を奮っています。
早く終息することを願っています。
以前、参拝して、記事にしなかった仏閣の勝願寺（しょうがんじ）を、
ご紹介します。
新型コロナウイルスを退散させ、打ち勝つことをご祈願します。
勝願寺（しょうがんじ）は、JR高崎線の鴻巣駅から徒歩10分ほどの所にある浄土宗の寺院です。鎌倉時代創建の古刹（こさつ、古い寺院）、関東十八檀林（だんりん、僧侶の学問の場）の1つであり、徳川家の庇護を受けて栄えた寺院です。
境内には関東郡代の伊奈忠次と息子の忠政の墓（埼玉県指定文化財）、戦国武将の牧野康成の一族の墓所、NHKの大河ドラマ「真田丸」に出ていた小松姫、真田信重夫妻の墓、大泥棒の石川五右衛門を捕まえたことでも知られ漫画「センゴク」の主役「仙石秀久」の墓もあります。
